It was very clean! The subway was close-by. For anyone who just needs a clean room and no other service or support, it is a neat place.

The staff doesn't help you with anything. All you get at this hotel is your room. If you need support with calling a taxi, ordering food, or anything else, don't expect any support. Therefore, it isn't a good place to stay for tourists who don't have a Korean SIM-Card and Korean Bankcard. From a 4-star hotel i would have expected better service. Even the lagguage storage is just a corner in the lobby accessible for anyone. I used to work in a 5-star luxury hotel, where suitcases are stored in the backoffice accessible only for staff and also the concierge service was good and helpful.

Near to the subway, there were a few exits which we could come from. It is also a few stops away from Myeongdong. The staff were also super helpful when we requested their help to book a airport taxi. I also highlighted an issue with the slow drainage in the bathtub and that got resolved quickly too.

Other than the cafe and burger restaurant in the building next to the hotel, not much eateries nearby.

Well located for sightseeing, plenty of good local eating options, close to Metro. Food store and pharmacy in lobby. Airport bus stop right outside (Bus 6015 from Incheon). Good breakfast (see below)

October 2022 lots of building work going on around the hotel, starting early in the morning, rooms not very soundproof. Check in is at 15:00 and not before, if you arive early no sympathy from the reception staff, unable to answer any questions about the area, or solve problems with the room, can't have two keycards even with more than one person staying. Seem to be a lot of large school groups using hotel and they get preference at breakfast so there will be periods before 09:00 where you can't get in to breakfast. Also stayed at PJ next door, much better

The beds are comfortable; it's nice that the hotel has a fitness center; and the rooms are clean. The man at the front desk on National Founding Day at 8am was very helpful in getting a new room ready for me quickly so I could go back to sleep. I would like to thank him in particular.

I stayed at Hotel Kukdo before and had a good experience but, this time, it was a bit of a mess. There was some noise going on for hours that started early in the morning, which the management was aware of. I'd asked for a quieter room, but was put on the side of the hotel closest to the noise. When I asked to move rooms, the person at the front desk dissuaded me from doing so, saying that there would be no noise for the next two days (which were a Sunday and a national holiday). However, the noise actually only stopped for one day, and woke me up after 3 hours of sleep the next morning. (At that point, I was able to move rooms, and the new room was very quiet.) The air conditioning in the new room didn't work well, though -- the temperature never got below 25º. Finally, the laundry service prices are exorbitant and there are very few laundromats in the area (some of which require a Korean phone number to use the electronic payment machines, making them hard for foreigners to access) so it would've been nice if the hotel had coin laundry. As an aside, the bathtub is quite small -- not big enough to actually sit down in and extend your legs (even for me at under 1.7m); that didn't bother me, but some people might want to know.
