The bathroom tap was wonky. Infant bed not made up prior to arrival.

Very convenient to family

Difficulty with ac. Sunday breakfast understaffed. No China mugs no cereal bowls no croissants.

It was really tasty with different varieties .

There was no enough water bottles for second day .and also no shower caps.

Very friendly greeting on arrival, room was a good standard and very clean. Evening meal in Marco White restaurant was very very nice and good value for money. Breakfast was very good.

The staff was really friendly and they went that extra mile to make our stay that bit more special for our 10 year wedding anniversary. The room was clean tidy and the pillows was so comfy. The breakfast was beautiful, it had a fantastic selection which was fresh and the full English was hot and not greasy at all. Again the staff at breakfast was so friendly and helpful.

The facilities in the gym and spa, the gym had a few machines that wasn't working and my husband was absolutely gutted that the hot tub wasnt working but we was still charged £5 each to use the swimming and not told that it was out of order. But overall it's a nice little gym and pool, we really enjoyed it.

It was noisy and loud this is the second time there has been some sort of party where guests run up and down corridors at 2am knocking on doors and running away. Restaurant food very unhealthy and not prepared well and staff seemed oblivious to the importance of customer care. Waited 7 minutes at reception for someone to turn up to check us in as deal was not manned

I booked this room with all confirmations received, and was turned away at reception as it was full 🤷‍♂️, received no assistance, help or explanation from reception, and this was late at night with little chance of booking elsewhere.

staff, while few of them, where all very friendly. only came into contact with 4 members of staff but everyone smiled and did try and assist.

the room was a disgrace, black mould on the wall and wallpaper peeling off the wall in hardened strips. damp smell, and bathroom door chipped away at the bottom. dissapointed by the food, despite being there for 8.30 was told kitchen was closed in restaurant so could only eat in lounge, eventually got served in there and waiting 20 minutes for what can best be described as a boil in the bag chicken meal.

horribly noisy. I was moved rooms at midnight due to the noise, but it really didn't help.I had no sleep due to ther customers screaming up and down the corridors

Hotel was a bit tired in places - room and dining room.

The room was great, very modern and clean, bed was very comfy and the shower gel and hand soap! Divine Minimal noise disturbance, always able to get a parking space.

The fridge in our room wasn’t cold the entire stay and the bathroom extractor fan is a little noisy.

Shower had low power but it was ok for a one night stay

The tap was hanging off in the bathroom sink with no hot water. The room is dated and the facilities were poor. Wouldn't believe it was worth more than £60 per night.

Lack of staff and long delay

The staff were helpful when we saw them. The bedroom was of a good standard overall and bedding was of a reasonable quality. The gym had a good range of equipment.

Just not enough staff about - had to wait at reception along with a number of other people at the 3pm check in time. Had to ask for top-up of food and drink at the buffet breakfast - again, just not enough staff around. The vegetarian sausages were a joke - took one look and thought they would be hard and cardboard like - but decided to take one bite - I should have believed my eyes - had to spit the food out it was so horrible.

Room was clean with a very large and comfortable bed. Breakfast was good and food well presented.

Furniture in room was looking very tired and dated. Bedside lamps had damaged shades which where crumpled and split. Bath side panel was marked and had paint peeling off at the bottom. Had to wait up to 15mins to check in as no one on reception at 3-00pm and a number of people waiting.

I had an unpleasant experience with the hotel's Christmas team. I had made my booking for a room and dinner at the Marco Pierre White Restaurant and paid from November before they decided on the Christmas/New Year package. I then received an email without apologies indicating that that booking could not hold except I signed up for the New Years package. I tried to reach them to discuss and negotiate because I had no other plans, but this was so difficult. One day, I rang their number over 15 time, eventually I got an email cancelling my reservation. It was so customer unfriendly, really disappointed 😞

Poor decor! Room 104. Bathroom panel was peeling. Dreadful! Lampshades had cracks in them. Table has suffered a water leak and had split and peeled badly. The room was downright shoddy!

We liked the idea of the pool but unfortunately it was closed the day we booked it due to chlorine levels we didn’t get our money back 🙁 On arrival we received warm cookies which was a lovely touch ☺️ There was a gentleman who worked in the restaurant who was exceptional and the meal in the steak house was so good

The property was lovely some of the wallpaper was coming off the wall down the hallway. Could do with some TLC Also room service didn’t really work we had to go down and order as the two options to order was not being answered. We also asked for two extra pillows that were supposed to be delivered to the room this didn’t happen

We received a lovely warm welcome. The hotel staff were really nice. Shower was powerful. Breakfast was good.

A male member of staff at the spa was rude and had a poor attitude. The spa was very tired and not in a good state of repair. Our room could have been cleaner - we complained and staff were very reasonable and apologetic and offered options and compensation.
