Comfortable bed, good heating & cooling, good size room.

food left in fridge plus food cover in microwave dirty indicating inadequate cleaning. Also not advised that we had to put a sign on the outside of the door asking for basic cleaning ie emptying rubbish bins AND washing dishes bearing in mind that there was no provision for guests to do it. Outside of buildings untidy and unfriendly staff

Friendly but efficient welcome by one of the proprietors who apparently upgraded my room allocation and then showed me to it. Bed very much to my liking - firm but just enough "give" to be very comfortable. Ample extra pillows and blankets provided. Room was spacious, well lit, and included plenty of seating, comprising a table and 4 chairs plus 2 2-seater sofas (one convertible to another bed). Large property means rooms are well away from the road. Full-strength WiFi signal with no password required and no apparent quota. Plenty of room for parking at the door. Large modern flat-screen TV with Netflix included. Good ventilation from large opening windows.

Bathroom obviously renovated but curtains on two sides of shower hanging outside of the recessed floor meant water finding its way across the floor. Signs! Too many spread around the room and property generally.

My booking via Booking.com stated it was for pay at the property. I didn't expect that the property would have debited the card I booked with prior to my arrival. When I questioned this, the operator advised that this is normal practice when booking on Booking.com. I have never paid in advance and have always paid at the hotel, this gives me the option of paying how I like, eg. cash or a different account. I did not give approval to the motel to debit my credit card. Not Happy!

was a large room with the main bed on a brick wall on one side and carpet smells and not clean.

such a quiet and cosy place. easy to find and the room was perfect for a night stay

Facilities were comfortable and functional.
