Small room with everything you need for a short stay

Location was very handy for us. Friendly hosts. Good parking. Room was very small but had everything we needed.

Narrow laneway required some care as few places for passing oncoming cars.

Hot weather, welcoming hosts

We let the owners know our breakfast choices the night before via WhatsApp. Though our room was a snug room it had everything we needed.

The bed was facing the wrong way but probably couldn't face the shower/toilet door. It was really awkward to get out of and the sheets were forever sliding off the corner.

Lovely stay would definitely recommend to anyone

Everything was fantastic the hosts, the location and everything I needed. The only downside is that I could hear the people upstairs walking around but that isn't to take away from how lovely the place is, just being honest.

Great snug room with real fire!

Fab snug room with real fireplace. Jon thought of everything, little kitchen had everything needed, even supplied milk and a pack of biscuits. What a lovely view and space to sit outside. 5 minutes to our meal at River cottage hq. Superb communication. Thanks

Breakfast was good but we requested less fried bread etc Location good and reception very friendly very well equipped for self catering

Overall very good for a short, three night stay for two adults.

The room was absolutely ready for us, including the en-suite, all exceptionally clean and tea, coffee, milk, sugar and biscuits! ready for us on arrival. John was on hand and helpfully texted suggested eating places locally and a bit further out.

The room is 'snug' for two 'full' sized adults and not much room for luggage (we decanted stuff we decided we could do without back into the car). Perhaps more empty shelf space in the en-suite would be good.

Perfect location, lovely hosts, clean and comfortable.

The view is stunning, ideal, quiet location but only minutes drive to lyme regis .Hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful.

For our short break, there wasn't anything we didn't like.

Just spot on for what we wanted.

The Location was perfect for us,also great scenery from our room.We didn’t book any breakfast on this occasion as we needed to be away early in the morning.We will be staying again.Thanks John & Sue

First impression - front porch unswept with leaves & detritus. Umbrellas available, but covered in cobwebs!

Lovely hidey hole right midst beautiful countryside.

This place is indeed snug, and has so many extras tucked into discreet storage places I was blown away - from power adapters to a range of milk options. The host was discreet, very welcoming and super organised with any odd questions I had.

right on the NCN 2. super for cyclist. or a couple. amazing what fits into a tiny space. and it’s tiny. kitchen, table, shower, ironing board

Stayed in a clean and cosy room that opened out onto a decking with amazing views of an absolutely beautiful area. John and Sue are amazing and friendly host's and would truly recommend a stay at their property..10/10 would stay again

This is fantastic place to stay at if you are visiting Devon or Dorset. close to every location. Super clean. very comfy. Balcony with fantastic view over valley. You cannot dream of anything else. Hosts are super friendly.

Enjoyable stay in lovely location.

Excellent location, Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Everything you needed was in the room. Location was excellent for East Devon and Dorset Jurassic coast.

The room was a little too small for us but can't complain about that because it was as described. It was a last minute break and we took what was available. Next time we would choose one of the other rooms.
