Wonderful breakfast. Loved the yoga classes. Wonderful staff. Great atmosphere.

Falling asleep to the sound of the jungle was fantastic. And we got to see so many wild animals around the facilities.

Some of the sounds were very loud, for example the howling monkeys, so I’d recommend earplugs so you can hear them just enough but also get some sleep.

Location is excellent (300 mts walk to a majestic beach -> playa chiquita, being honest, this is the paradise). Bungalows are great a dog friendly. I went w/ 2 small dogs and the attention was outstanding! breakfast is great & there’s a delicious pizza rest ~50 mts.

The breakfast was always delicious and abundant. Close to beaches and good restaurants. Far from Puerto Viejo which is fine because once the traffic hits, it's impossible to cross the one-way bridges. The howler monkeys are by far the best who like to eat the little nuts off the tree and then drop them on the tin roofs. LOUD - you would think it's raining. LOL

the staff was okay, not super communicative. Our toilet was not cleaned! Prices for massages were US prices - buyer beware. One person has Corona at the end of our visit and the staff was not very communicative nor diligent about the situation. They should have really thought more about the impact on visitors. While there is no wifi signal in the rooms, they should have someone accommodate her and us a little bit better instead of keeping her in the open. All turned out okay, but the staff was lackadaisy at best. Very simple rooms, and only one towel throughout our stay. Since there are no dryers and it's humid, more towels would be appreciated.

The property is ideally located within walking distance of great restaurants, a market, and a beautiful beach. It’s tucked away in the jungle so visitors get to enjoy amazing wildlife right from their front porch. We were lucky enough to wake up one morning to find a sloth slowly walking past our Casita in search of a new tree. Amazing. We watched him (or her!) slowly make their way to a new perch. It was magical. We were lulled to sleep every night by the rain and slept really well until morning jungle sounds woke us. The casita had a front porch with a hammock, and the 4-poster bed was shrouded in netting. An in-room safe was perfect for storing our passports. You can expect amazing home cooked breakfasts during your stay complete with freshly pressed juices, great coffee and a never ending variety of delicious recipes. Oh, and did we mention the daily yoga? We had a car which made it easy to see the nearby nature reserves and animal sanctuaries. Wonderful sights both north and south from the property, plus the immediate surroundings that were just outside the gate.

- surprisingly poor shower, the worst I’ve seen in many years, the water goes in all directions but not towards your body - WiFi is working only at the reception area, gathering crowds in the evening - Absolutely unclear what’s going on on the premises of the place - some people were served lunch or dinner (we were not offered anything), there is seem to be a yoga class in the area (also nobody told us!); the hosts could have given us more information on arrival even about simple things - Very poor value for money, I would say 50 USD is the maximin that one can pay for a night here

The garden is really beautiful and you can hear a lot of crickets and birds from the room. I also loved the sounds of the rain on the roof. Breakfast was fantastic and staff was really friendly. Location was perfect - not in the busy area yet not too far from everything.

No wifi in the room… that was a little inconvenient as you’d have to come to the common area if you need to use the internet.

Very serene and peaceful. Very attentive staff that was willing to help anytime. Delicious vegetarian breakfast, coffee, and tea. Filtered water available all hours if needed as well as access to refrigerator. Great!
