Everything was extra money on an already expensive room

Location of hotel is ideal, overlooking a lovely square. Room was very comfortable & very quiet even though our room was looking out over busy square. Staff were very nice. Would recommend Mother Goose to everyone.

Service in the reception was really really nice. Hotel has an unique vibe and style. The rooms are very spacious and nicely decorated. Location may be a plus if you think of proximity to the center of Utrecht and all the attractions. In that sense the location is absolutely perfect because the hotel is exactly in the city center and only 10 minutes by feet from train station. The beds are also very comfortable and big.

Unfortunately, when it comes to silence and peacefulness the location is a minus. Apparently (at least on the weekend from my experience) Utrecht's center turns into a drunken screaming night party that does not stop until very early morning hours. I cannot speak for everyone but for me it is hard to sleep when under my window someone screams like a slaughtered drunken pig... Even though windows in the room are doubled you can still hear it. Door of the room has no sound proofing whatsoever so if anyone walks on the corridor and talks you hear it as if it was inside of the room. And the best of all - a new fantastic trend of bathrooms being "part of the room". Only the toilet itself has additional door to it, however sink and shower are basically in your room. When you step out of the shower you are next to your bed. So forget about any privacy you might want to have. Even if you have no problem with all of that, a simple fact of going to the toilet during night - to wash you hands after you can either go blindly through your room or you have to put the light on in the whole room waking your partner up (if he could actually fall asleep with all the other noise that is).

Everything! It was wonderfully clean. Nicely appointed. Comfortable bed. The room was open and not confining - and it was bright. All breakfast items were very lovely except 1. Overall the breakfast items were very thoughtfully considered.

This property was incredible! The rooms were a mix of modern and vintage - very cool and witty vibe. But the biggest plus was the staff. We were completely overwhelmed by the kindness and thoughtfulness provided. An especially strong shout out goes to Camilla at the front desk - she went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay - give this girl a raise :)

My only minor complaint would be to potentially increase the lighting in the vanity area. It’s not always the easiest to know when to blend your makeup when the lighting is dim.

Great hotel and staff

We left a travel neck pillow behind and the hotel cleaning staff took it without letting front desk know about it. We called about it less than 5 hours later and they said they didn’t find anything. That’s a lie.

the location is ideal to explore the city and there are loads of cafes, bars and restaurants within walking distance. the hotel is super cute and comfortable and the staff is really nice.

Super cute, clean, central, comfiest bed, great shower, and friendliest staff. Even being in the city centre and room facing a side street, it was quiet and I had a good night rest. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

I didn’t stay longer.

Very convenient location. Great comfortable bed and pillows. Pillows are available in different sizes and I was able to choose. This is very important for me. There were two busy cafes under the windows, but the room was quiet.

The staff--all of them--were exceptionally kind, helpful and interesting. They gave us brilliant recommendations for restaurants and cafes and bars.

Our rooms were a slightly on the cold side but that's much preferable to being overheated. A rug on the floor or a pair of slippers would have made a huge difference. But this is minor really--everything was charming and so comfortable and delightful.

Lovely hotel, right in the centre of Utrecht. Very friendly staff. Loved the decor!
