Wij waren genoodzaakt de laatste overnachting om medische redenen te annuleren. Daarin werkte het personeel mee. We hebben alleen hun annuleringskosten moeten betalen.

De kamer was ronduit vies en dan met name het bed. Er lagen keutels in, haren en kleine bloedvlekjes op de lakens. Er is geen klamboe. De vloer lag vol zand. Het hele complex was slecht onderhouden. Er waren leuke zithoekjes, maar die zaten vol vogelpoep. Er leek in geen tijden gepoetst te zijn. En het personeel zat doodleuk gezelschapsspellen te doen, terwijl er zoveel werk te doen was. Op de kamer geen wifi, koude douche, geen douchekop. Dat maakt allemaal niets uit, als de prijs ernaar is. Maar om €65,- voor zo’n kamer te vragen, is echt belachelijk veel. Bij het ontbijt kregen we als fruit bovendien alleen een gekneusde banaan en in mijn muesli zaten mieren. Wij snappen echt niet, waar deze hoge beoordelingsscore vandaan komt. We zijn echt wel wat gewend, maar dit was onze vieste kamer, gedurende onze 6 weken in Colombia.

Very little. 2 km from entrance to Tayrona National Park.

Mosquito net filthy and full of holes. Shower was just a plastic pipe coming out of the wall. No shower head or hot water. Lots of creep crawlies in room. Pool looked dirty. Tiny breakfast.OK for a child. Noisy main road with trucks and buses etc.

Nice location almost walking distance from El Zaino Entrance to Tayrona NP Clean pool. Ok breakfast.

Internet is intermittent, towels are not replaced even after 3 days but that’s expected in a hostel. Stairs could be an issue for some.

The location was key as we were heading to Tayrona National park which was only a short shuttle away. Not many other attractions near by though. We needed to be back in Santa Marta at 5am to catch our shuttle back to Cartagena and the staff arranged that for us at 4am which was very helpful! No wifi unless you are up at the reception area. They only serve breakfast which we didn't have time for so didn't get a chance to try it. There are a few restaurants near by with great food though! All in all a great place to stay for the value!

Grounds and staff were great. Beds comfortable and clean.

Cabin was close to the road. Trucks and motorcycles sounded like they were in the cabin until late at night.

The hotel is trully beatiful. The food was excellent. The location is superb.

To change the towels more often
