Loved the location, it was so easy to check in and check out.

Very central location, a short walk from the rail station. Plenty of pubs, shops etc. nearby. Modern and functional inside, with a clean, fresh feel. Good ensuite facilities in the room, and a comfortable double bed. Lift to every floor.

No natural light in the room. Coffee etc. available in the lobby but expensive. Early checkout time (10 am) with the threat of a £20 charge for being late. The walk into the city centre was a long, steep hill!

The room was bigger than I was expecting. The bed was very comfortable and I was on the first floor which was easily accessed.

Staff were very unattentive on check out. One was in the back room on her mobile and the rest (about 3 staff) were outside smoking in front of the hotel. Not very professional. There was also a green light in the room that kept me awake all the first night and no phone in the room to ring down to reception so would of had to get dressed to get anything sorted. There was some inconsiderate guests who made lots of noise in the corridors.

I have been numerous times as I like this hotel and the location of the place.

I went yesterday and I smoked out the window and then after I got a warning I said sorry and didn't do it again because I felt terrible. Then I got accused for smoking again when I didn't. It was this young blonde woman who I felt was picking on me and my partner for no reason. She was trying to say we were smoking when we told her repeatedly we didn't after the warning we got given. This resulted in me getting very upset and checking out the same day I was only there for 3 hours because she was so rude and trying to accuse us again. I don't mind the first warning as me and my partner were in the wrong. But second time the little blonde woman was horrible. My partner and I have booked this hotel beforehand for the 14th feb for valentines day we tried to cancel and get a refund but this was not possible. However, after the 14th feb we will never be returning to this hotel ever again. I will also be telling friends to never use this hotel again either. I will be using another hotel from now on not easyhotel.

Shower instead of a bath, tv didn’t work, plug socket next to the bed did not either

Good location. Able to check in late and there is always somebody on reception. Room was clean and a decent size. Comfy bed.

No wardrobe/drawers, despite being enough space in the room for one. Had to keep all our clothes in our suitcases. The heating system did not appear to be working - when we arrived, the room was boiling, and it was very fiddly to try and change the temperature. In the end we gave up. The panel on the heating system was missing, so it may have been broken and causing the issue. Some black mould in the shower. The light for the bathroom was so bright that it lit up the whole room. Not good in the middle of the night when you want to go to the loo, and don't want to wake up your partner!

Too noisy. The door bangs every time people go in and out. We woke up constantly due to noisy for the first night

Had no waste bin in the room.

Good Location

Not once was our room cleaned and no-one emptied our bins. Staying somewhere for a week without cleaning is not pleasant, when we asked your staff to send cleaners, they did not bother informing the cleaners or do anything. We even had to empty out our own bins. There were no storage or shelves in the room, therefore these rooms only suitable for short stay, I would have appreciated this information prior booking.
