We've stayed here before and like the location, but on our last visit we were a bit disappointed with the quality of the apartment which was a bit tired-looking and with a not very comfortable bed. This time we were in one of the refurbished apartments and liked it much better. Although there is already some wear and tear it was generally much more attractive and the bed was great. It's good that parking is available on site, although you do have to pay extra for that.

The wifi went down on our floor one day and took some time to be fixed, but the staff were really helpful in trying to find a solution as quickly as possible and the manager, Annette, even offered to go out and buy a dongle (we refused the offer but were grateful for the gesture) as well as offering an apartment change. We decided to wait till the next day to see if that proved necessary but luckily the problem was resolved by then.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a great pub across the lane, but be aware very lively on a Saturday night particularly when its a home game.

The apartment was very spacious but it is in need of an update, particularly the bathrooms. Also the lighting could be brightened as it felt very gloomy.Access in and out of the carpark is tricky.

Excellent location. 5 minutes from the train station. Close to all attractions and restaurants. Comfortable, clean, spacious apartment. Friendly reception. A home from home.

The outside of the apartment is undergoing renovation and workmen sometimes had to do some drilling. It was not all the time and never before 9 or after 4. It did make the outside appearance look like a building site though. However as we were out all day it was not an issue and the apartment facilities were excellent. I would have given a 10 but for this.

Location, value for money.

Outside noise during the night - shouting and rowdiness after pubs closed, glass bins getting emptied loudly at dawn.
