very peaceful environment, great location to relax.

Food was fantastic. Owners were extremely helpful and friendly. Nice vibe. Bed was superb.

It was further from the beach than we had hoped but we found a walking route and enjoyed the adventure.

Greg & Maria are wonderful, warm hosts who instantly made us feel relaxed & at home. By the end of our two- nights stay we felt part of the family. Evergreen is a beautifully designed & tranquil oasis, with lots of personal touches. The food was authentic & delicious. Greg is a coffee-connoisseur providing us with ample, real coffee! We cannot wait to return, & will stay for much longer next time.

Evergreen is wonderful. The only sadness is that the direct route to beach has been destroyed by sand mining. Having said that, there is a very pleasant, 30min walk through the neighbourhood to a glorious beach & excellent, low-key beach bar that does great food.

The lodge is surrounded by trees so it is a couple of degrees cooler than out in the sun. A haven of shade and nature. Deeply relaxing to sit around and listen to the birds. Maria is an excellent cook and prepared delicious breakfasts and dinners. Also flexible - consulted on what sort of food we liked and time of meals. Enjoyed honey from Greg's bees at breakfast. Both very friendly and helpful.

It would be a bit difficult to find the lodge if you had your own transport as there are no signposts and it's right in the country. But that's why we chose it.

Excellent breakfast and dinner. Very nice staff indeed. Interesting location and ideas of living off the grid.

Some trouble with the Internet, but the owners did a lot to help.

Tranquility, nature, hospitality. We were helped with taxis and suggestions where to go. Breakfast was good as was the dinner cooked for us on request.. The emphasis was on natural products and they also make moringa products.

The map location, which I understand was the responsibility of booking.com, was inaccurate so it took our taxi driver some time to find the lodge.

Greg and Maria are very helpfull. The food is excellent, especially the butterfish which is the best we have tasted here in Gambia.

The garden in which the six huts are located is amazing, trees and flowers everywhere. The huts are nice and large, enough room for suitcases. The mosquitonets ware in perfect shape and the beds were really nice. Greg and Maria, the hosts, are very nice people that will always help you out if necessary. Greg is very involved with the local community and both are very interesting people to talk to. The staff is friendly and the food is really nice. You can choose between European and local food. I definitely recommend this place to everyone who likes to be close to nature. The lodge is located very good, you can visit many places while staying here.

Nothing really, we really enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend it.
