We experienced one of the best moments of our Sri Lanka trip here in Dambulla Shan Inn accommodation. Simply put - the hosts (Chathuri, Shan and their daughter Anuki) were just fabulous. So Kind, helpful, caring and customer oriented. We had so much fun with them. Regarding the accommodation - it was clean, calm and the food was also great. Visit here absolutely recommended. A great place to stay, very nice room, hot shower, A/C, wifi, everything you need/want. Good location outside of Dambulla town, very close to tourist attractions. Highly recommend this accomodation! Chathuri and her husband Shan are super lovely, very helpful, kind, welcoming. Plus Chathuri makes delicious cakes!!! 10 stars is not enough!!! If you visit Sri Lanka, come here!

Good location nearby temple, friendly owners, the bus to Kandy stops infront of the building.

Breakfast was OK, but could be maybe a little bit better. The water in the shower wasn't hot.

A very hospitable, helpfull and cheerfull owners who make you feel at home.

Rooms are really simple. Bathroom with no wall or step to keep water, so you end up in a puddle all over the bathroom after each shower. A broom for bathroom floor would help a lot.

A host familiy is lovely! Their made our stay very nice and pleasant. The room is nice and there is hot water in shower and the rooms are surrounded with very nice garden. The host helped us find driver for our trip and also to stop the bus at the bus station for Kandy which is actually right in front of their house. Thank you very much!

The place is amazing! I spent there 3 days with my friends. I must say it’s the best choice we could make! It was very clean, comfortable and had a good and calm location, close to the Dambulla Golden Temple where is amazing view. The staff was very, very helpfull and superfriendly. Thanks a lot for making our trip so special. It was nice to meet you and hope to see you soon :)

The place is pleasant to stay with kids. In the backyard is a garden. Everything is very safe. The food was delicious... she truly tried to make not so spicy food for children. She gave good advices about traveling, prices,...

Great location if You want to see the cave temple! Only small walk distance to the ticket counter. Lovely Owner of the place gave us useful tips about road to the cave temple, recommended to us great and cheap place to eat tasty dinner, got up around 6.00 am to prepare for us breakfast and booked for us bus with ac to Kandy. Bus and tuk tuk stop is just in front of the Shan Inn. My advice is to take the room at the back od the builiding because its located near Kandy road, which is quite loud also at night time. And at the back is a beautiful Garden.

Amazing hosts, sincere and caring people, helped us with catching a bus to Sigiriya, made nice dinner. The beds were huge and very comfy. Outside garden pleasant to spend time at. Main attractions within a walking distance.

Breakfast was included in the rate but as we left at 7 AM was not offered by the host. Thats the only thing that would have been nice to have. Other than that - all good.

Very nice and clean room, with beautiful and quiet garden. Really helpful staff. I think it's the most caring staff in Sri Lanka. They provided us with everything, from food to trips.
