Perfect place to experience Transilvania culture and atmosphere. Wonderful guidance by kind owner for neighboring church tour and beautiful dinner in the classic house. Highly recommended.

the only thing I didn't like was that it was very hot to sleep upstairs in the small double room, even if outside was quite cold

We were accomodated in the quiet two-storey countryhouse with a great view on the fortified church. What most impressed us was the serenity of the location and its authenticity as a traditional transylvanian village.

The accommodation had an amazing atmosphere and charm which tied in perfectly with it's surroundings. The renovation of the old buildings is an example of how it should be done and the overall decoration is done with taste and balance. You rarely find all of the comfort of modern hotels in refurbished lodgings such as this one but Transylvania Guesthouse is the perfect combination of traditional rustic charm and modern conditions. The owners and their staff were super nice and very attentive and even facilitated a guided tour of the old fortified church. The food was great and I we truly recommend the dinner menu. In short we loved our stay.

The mattresses could have been more comfortable.
