The alpacas and the environment. They also had a trampoline.

The upstairs bedroom was a bit too small for 2 beds. The heating was turned on late, so we were cold for quite a lot of time after arriving.

The location is beautiful, the little holiday home is put together very well and is lovely. The owners were friendly and super welcoming. It was easy to find and communication was excellent. Not a criticism, so I'm not putting it in that box, but the stairs to the kids beds is really steep, so I would suggest not letting smaller children stay up there. Mine are 6 and 8 and they loved their attic sleeping place.

It was all fine. We would have liked to stay longer but booked this on our way from mainland Europe back to the UK. So only spent one night.

Very kind and friendly personel

Friendly, welcoming hosts. Great little cottage with your own private area of garden. Parking on site and close to lots of nice villages and walks.

It is the perfect little cottage and just the right size for two adults and two children. All the extra little touches like coffee for the machine and blankets for sitting by the fire in the evening made our experience all that more enjoyable. Our hosts were so friendly and helpful and even let our girlies feed the chickens and provided us with fresh eggs! This was a wonderful find and we will definitely return in the future.

A bit small and not OK for self catering

Very easy, key located near front door because we arrived late. Location was wonderfully rural, which we liked. Very peaceful, no noise and lovely owners/neighbours.

There were no curtains in main sitting/dining room and you walked straight from the small shower room into the sitting room, for everyone to see you, particularly at night if the lights were on inside. Some light blinds might be useful (NOT net curtains). Second bedroom only suitable for children or small adults; quite cramped and low ceilings. There was nowhere to store any clothes or luggage in either bedroom; there were some hooks on the wall to hang your clothes on, which is not really suitable. To say suitable for 4 pp is stretching it. Kitchen tiny with no provisions bar some coffee and tea. I have seen much more generous equipped kitchens. Also the lack of shampoo, conditioner and good soap seemed somewhat frugal, which is very Dutch. People who come for short stays really appreciate such gestures. Never had that before either. The handsoap seemed to be diluted with water or of very light quality.
