It's in a good, central location. At €60 per night, it is cheap. It was very quiet there during the night, so I slept fine. If you want a cheap stay in a passable hostel type accommodation, then it's fine.

You are given access to the front door and your room via an app, which is emailed to you shortly before you arrive. I didn't see any staff, nor is there a reception desk. So, if you have queries, you'll need to contact someone with your phone. The place itself is old, fairly run down and poorly decorated. The shower leaked badly and the bed was too soft.

Our room was large enough, but sadly lacking. Our son's room was TINY, barely room to move around.

Toilet broken (and had to pump the handle 10-15 times to make it flush); Missing Television; No coffee or tea supplies (although there was a kettle); You had to access your room with an app to be downloaded that we didn't know about and the front door lock did NOT work; Broken door on our room; Broken window latch; Dirty & Damaged rug; NO heat in the shower WHATSOEVER and it sprayed all over the place with leaking; Shower heater was out of reach unless you were 6ft tall, but didn't work anyway!; Flimsy pillows; VERY noisy outdoors, even though windows were shut; Very few outlets; No bathroom fan; 3rd floor with very steep steps and no elevator; Dirty Bathroom.

On the day I was due to check in, I received a phone calling informing me that this hotel had been closed for 6 months (I only booked 2-3 months in advance) They person on the phone said they managed to find us alternative accomodation but the place we were sent to was not clean and smelled strongly of stale alcohol. We stayed only because we had no other option. I'm really not sure how a posting stays on booking.com when the hotel in question has been closed for 6 months, I suggest that this listing be removed completely

Nothing! we were booked into the metropole and when I rang them to check in he told me my room was actually booked up full of Ukrainians so he brought us to a hostel up the road that was absolutely filthy.

The beds were not changed.The toilet not cleaned. No toilet roll. Stained towels. Kettle and cups and nothing else. No reception. Limited TV channels. No heating. Full with refugees. Altogether just a dump for the price.
