Great location in the very heart of Kilkenny! Room was huge and very comfortable. Bathroom was OK, cleaning was OK. Breakfast (full Irish) was superb. We would surely return, as it exceeded our expectations.

A bit more information on "how and where" to park the car would have been very helpful, considering it's a crowded area without parking places on the street (a bit difficult to download/upload the bags). As there is no elevator, you may find hard to carry the bags by stairs up to the second floor.

Every member of staff was really friendly and helpful. The location was perfect- right in the centre and close to everything. The breakfast which was included was tasty. We had a choice of cooked breakfasts, plus there were scones, cereals, fruit and yoghurt which we could help ourselves to.

There were only a couple of small things that weren't perfect. There was no hairdryer in the rooms and the bathroom was a little dated. However, considering the good value of our stay these things were not a deal breaker.

room 3. it is horrendous. not because of internal issues or cleanliness but it is too bright, it was like sleeping in the day with the outside light from terrace or whatever it was shining in. could not sleep. also this room is right next to their terrace rooftop bar. no or little privacy. this ruined my sleep sadly
