The rooms were clean, well maintained. Compact but includes all facilities. Bathrooms are small and clean. Best for budget stays.

Wall mounted tv is so close to bed. One might break tv if you don't observe. Housekeeping is very slow

Room was clean but small. Nice location, easy to get to. Area felt safe to be in.

There were no hand towels or wash cloths at the sink. The staff said at checkout that we had to ask for a hand towel, we had to use our bath towels. The thermostat on the wall did not light up, so I had to use my phone flashlight to see the numbers. The staff did not tell us that we should have come down to the desk to get the parking lot for our card. I still do not know how that works, but they did reimburse me for parking. To get to the parking lot you had to go out on the street and drive several blocks to get to the back of the hotel to enter. The breakfast was only traditional Malaysian food, the pan fried noodles were so spicy I could not eat them. I do not expect them to cater to only western food, but some would have been nice.

Room was too small / congested with furniture's. Location not too great. Noise / can hear ppl passing by our room and thier talks.

Friendly and courteous staff. Breakfast buffet was good. Car park was safe and in protected area. Lobby area was large and spacious.

Our room aircon did not work well. Our room safe malfunctioned and despite the technicians coming to fix it, it still did not work. Our room was changed but this time, the shower rose and the rain shower could not be switched around, making it inconvenient to shower.

Only 1 person to attend check in without contingency even q till abt 10 client(start q by 12am, only check in by 1:30am, feel so tired…again parking access found all run & open&close by security manual type…obiously make full use of employee & don’t care of client

I am a frequent solo business traveler and I stayed in many hotels. Holiday Inn express JB gave me a very good impression. The hotel room design is superb and the whole feeling is very good. This could be the best JB hotel

Parking is limited. I am afraid that it is a full house, I expect parking could be a potential problem
