The staff was very friendly. Location is great. There is a kitchen which could be a great plus if staying a few nights. They also let you leave a bag of you arrive before check in time
Rooms are crowded with no place to put a bag. No way of locking room door and lockers are only if you leave after they open check in. Since I had to leave at 7 - no locker for me.
Very noisy: doors bang, you can hear the next room's loud guests and anyone who walks in and out of the bathroom. Windows are not tight fitted and you can hear loud (drunk) tourists going by on the streets until late hours.
No hot water in the showers!!! And in order to take a shower you have to keep pressing a button by force. So you get a cold shower just pressing and waiting and praying for some hot water to arrive. Alas.

Hostel accommodation, good outdoor space to enjoy drinks, food. Inside community space for reading, meeting other guests. Offered a cup of tea on arrival.

Breakfast wasn't normally provided, but you could buy tea, coffee, and beer in the hostel. A couple of times, there were unexpected leftovers, so we had breakfast. The common area was fantastic with the outdoor garden and the tables for studying and hanging out. It was a very friendly atmosphere between the staff and the guests, and I wouldn't be surprised if this is the best hostel in Utrecht. I loved it.
The only thing I didn't like was the need to constantly keep pressing a button so the showers didn't turn off on you. I understand needing these though, in case someone came in drunk and just left the shower on, running up the bill.

I stayed there for a week due to an internship, and really enjoyed my stay. The staff was friendly but not intrusive, the building is really cute (not some soulless modern hostel) and very clean. There are lockers and a kitchen, which allows to feel comfortable and secure. The hostel is really well placed in the city (right at the center, quite close to the station, in a quiet street in a lively neighbourhood with plenty of restaurants and cute shops).
I loved the small garden and was happily suprised by the presence of an adorable cat.

They have a nice garden and living room/shared space. Some of the staff were super friendly and very welcoming.
The beds were not super comfortable and there was no ladder to get on top of the bunk were I was sleeping. There was plugs and little shelves to put your stuff on everything bed as well except mine so I guess I was juste unlucky. The bathrooms and showers were okay clean (it’s an old building so they do what they can) but I always recommend bringing flip flops because people do use their shoes in the showers so it got a bit muddy sometimes. There are no shelves to put your clothes/shower stuff so things can get wet although showers are quite long. Some of the staff seemed really bored/not happy to be there which made the ambiance a little less friendly at times… ambiance was not as friendly/warm as I would’ve expected/wanted.

Most of the staffs are super nice. Common area is big and cozy. Enough washroom and shower room even though 3 of the shower rooms are repairing.
Not every bed got a light and shelf. The bedsheet is a bit old. Not enough hot water in shower room especially at night.

Convenient place in Utrecht. Standard hostel, with shared places that were clean. Beds are bunks and there is a light and a plug nearby. Showers were good.

Really Nice Hostel, hippy style near center , very cozy and quiet with Nice common space and garden.

The staff of the hostel is very kind and nice. The hostel is located in the heart of the city center.
The toilet was not very clean (but I think it was the guests' fault). Also, the room is quite small and uncomfortable
