Cosy room, great for town centre and pub a downstairs!

There was no breakfast

No tv in room. Ceiling and doors were very low

Clean,comfy beds and great location.

No breakfast,no television and staff a little severe.

Wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff and great food. Rooms were small, but clean and comfortable with lovely kind touches to make the stay special.

When we arrived after a cold rainy day, the staff said that they didn’t have our names down in there book, but everything was booked through booking.com and was all good. Then they had nerve to say you will have to have a other room! As we walked up the stairs, they opened the door for us and the room was being used by someone else. A total mismanagement and no organisation at all it seems, then they found a little room with a shared bathroom, witch we paid for a bathroom en suite. There excuse was realy sorry we can knock £5 of your bill. At that stage wet and tired we just went to bed, and there was no heating on all night. Never again please do not go. I’m only being honest. Thankyou

Very friendly staff, food was amazing and the rooms were very clean & tidy. Definitely recommend staying here right in the 💓 of Ambleside.
