it’s on the side of a mountain/hill over looking the sea with beautiful views everywhere. the breakfast every day was amazing. you have your own jacuzzi and the staff is responsive. Please note most properties in Santorini don’t have an actual address so if you take a Taxi tell them Galis Square, but pay the premium price to let the hotel arrange your airport pickup so they will await your arrival.

there are a couple of things that after being there I understand they are unavoidable because of the terrain and the reality of the geography. 1 - It’s hard to get a lot of privacy outside of your room because you’re on the face of a steep hill and people walk around to get to their rooms. 2 - you have to go up and down about 100 steps to get to your room from the street and some are very steep. They are great about taking your bags but it’s still a schlep. DO NOT STAY HERE if you are not capable of climbing steep steps multiple times. Taxi through the hotel is more dependable but more expensive. you’ll pay 45 euros to go to the airport but 25 through taxis directly.

the bed mattress is comfortable and soft, well Equipped with general facilities. The welcoming desert is nice and the breakfast is fantastic with many choices.

the location is not easy to find.

This property had amazing views and breakfast. We arrived early and the hotel was not ready, however they offer to hold onto our bags while my wife and I went on our catamaran cruise. When we arrived back that night they helped us check in to the hotel and get settle in. They have a tablet where you can order your breakfast and they bring it to you in the morning. They can offer transportation to other hotels and airports for a fee of course. This hotel was amazing and exceeded my and my wife’s expectations.

The hotel is located right in front of the volcano, with a great view of the sunset. The staff are amazing and did whatever they could to help. Food is fantastic.

the cave jacuzzi was very pretty, but it was a pity that the weather was a bit cold and the water of jacuzzi was not hot enough, so we could not enjoy too much in the jacuzzi

This property is nothing but magical. I had dreamed to come back and this place wad exactly what my dreams were made out of. HIGHLY recommend cocoon suits!!!! Staff, management, breakfast, location and the rooms everything was perfect!!!!

The view is outstanding! Overlooking the caldera, the hotel is perfectly located on the cliff. The hot tub and little balcony is the best way to spend the golden hours… It’s magical! The decoration of the room is elegant and everything is extremely clean and tidy. The staff is very polite and available to your doubts and needs.

The time spent on the balcony is a bit of a let down. The pictures seemed to promise some privacy. However, our room was located just next to the reception and dinning area. Therefore, there was always someone passing by our room / hot tub area. We were not allowed to order dinner from the hotel as they were hosting a wedding.

All i can say is WOW! My now Fiance & I booked a 2 night stay in the Grand Honeymoon Suite as a treat for our last 2 nights in Santorini. From the moment we stepped into the suite we were blown away. Firstly we were taken back by the size of the suite. It was HUGE. We had a seperate front room/living area with TV, a huge bedroom and 2 bathrooms. The decor and cleanliness were 10/10. The bed was extremely comfortable and the TV had Netflix which was a bonus. We were then greeted to our private cave pool with a large day bed and 2 sun loungers with the most amazing view. Our first day, we arrived & were given complimentary snacks and wine to enjoy on the balcony whilst our luggage was carried up by the most helpful porters. We enjoyed the evening watching the sunset on the Caldera. The second day, we woke in the morning to a wonderful breakfast (you have to order this via the tablet provided in the room, with lots of choice). We spent the rest of the day relaxing in the heated private pool (completely private) and had lunch on our balcony overlooking the most amazing views. The menu has a great variety and was really tasty. That evening, my Fiance arranged a candlelit 3 course dinner on our balcony (arranged with the reception) and proposed. It was honestly the most magical moment of my life and to experience it at Cocoon suites was a dream. I wouldn't change one thing at all. I am completely over the moon. To top it off, he had bought petals and candles and the night service team decorated the room .... honestly just a dream! We recommend Cocoon suites and if you're lucky enough to stay in the Grand Honeymoon Suite ... do it! You will not be disappointed.

- The view from the hot tub was immaculate - one of the best we had in Santorini - There were many complimentary snacks and wines provided throughout the stay - Staff was kind for the most part (though one member was a bit pushy when we were getting a transfer to the airport) - Our room was upgraded for free

- Bad room smell - Shower water was salty - Wine was good but food (particularly the meat and cheese board) was very sub par - Price of transfer to/from airport is 50% higher than the price you would pay if you were to find a taxi on your own (45 euros vs 30) - We found out we missed our early morning flight when in route to the airport and returned to the property. Rather than being given a hotel bed temporarily, we were given a table outside with "shade" during the scorching heat. A bit personal, but would've appreciated a bit more effort to help us during a frustrating time.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Santorini. The staff at this property are all great! ( special thanks to Nana at the reception and Esmira from room service.

The view was exceptional, the food delicious, the staff warm and welcoming. I looked forward to every morning and woke up to watch the sun rise and light up Oia and the caldera. Sunsets were equally magical. I barely left my suite, and why would I? I had the best of Santorini from my terrace. Can't wait to come again! Thank you for looking after me, Nana and Nate.

The hot tub could have been warmer at night! Restroom could also do with a bidet hose.

We had an amazing stay in cocoon suites for our honeymoon! The room was exceptional, the most incredible views of the volcano and the sunset. The outdoor hot tub was amazing, perfect for enjoying some cocktails and soaking in the views! All the staff were so helpful and friendly, really went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The breakfast was amazing with huge choice and served on the terrace each morning. We ate in the restaurant once and had lunch, all the food was delicious. The location was great, felt a lot more secluded than other hotels in Santorini we walked past, it’s not directly visible from the main path unlike a lot of them. Would definitely recommend!

WOW What an amazing boutique hotel in such an amazing location in Santorini. We stayed for 4 nights while we were visiting Santorini for a friends wedding and Nana and her team couldn't have been more helpful! The private transfer from the airport is worth the money as there is few and far Taxis and meant from landing to being in the room was less than 20 minutes. The hotel is super clean and the cave suites are just amazing, larger than expected and perfect for a short stay. Breakfast was wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed this each morning and the lunch was also great and excellent value. The views of the Caldera are unspoilt and this area is very quiet and relaxing but with plenty of nice bars and restaurants within a 30 second - 5 minute walk. The hotel also arranged an ATV for us to rent which was the best way to get to Oia and also local wine tasting.

We couldn't fault it, the room was a little damp on day 1 after cleaning but the hotel placed a de-humidifier there within minutes, we are certain this was from the floor being mopped shortly before we arrived at the hotel mid morning. The problem did not happen again throughout the stay.
