We had a great stay at Calle Michelangelo. The apartment was spacious, clean and well equipped. The location was perfect for us, away from the busy main island jet only one stop away with the water bus, from the busy main island. There is a supermarket and various restaurants close by. I can only recommend this place to anyone visiting Venice.

Very spacious apartment set over 2 floors. It was ideally located on Giudecca which is a short water taxi ride from San Marco. The owner was very helpful and arranged a private water taxi from the airport for us. The apartment was very clean and well equipped there was coffee provided and all the facilities you need including a washing machine and dishwasher. The beds were comfy and the whole apartment roomy and well laid out. The location was peaceful away from the hustle and noise of San Marco but easily accessible by vaporetto (water taxi you can get a pass for 25euro for 24 hours unlimited access) the water taxis run day and night. There is a small shop, cafe and bar about 200 m from the apartment on the quayside, its an ideal spot to have a glass of wine and watch the boats go by. We visited in Feb so not crowded or hot. The apartment has heating and air con. I would highly recommend this apartment.

There was occasional noise from apartment above but not excessive and to be expected as it is an apartment.

We liked everything

We had a full apartment, equipped for a family stay - just as described. Safe environment, one - two stops from Venice main island (pay an attention that the apartment is on Calle Michelangelo island). It was very comfortable and very clean? We had the privacy and quiet that we were looking for. Be sure to buy the waterbus tickets before arriving.

Microwave could be a good option (instead of an Oven) but it was described and no surprises. We first reserved the apartment for a week earlier for half price, and when change the date it doubled, but this is life, and we had no other better option, so made the reservation. But it was a surprise. Anyhow - recommend

Everything was great. Close to the center, just 2 stops by water tram. Everything you need is just around the corner - shop, bakery, bar and tram stop.

The sofa bed is unconfertable.

Host greeted us and explained to us about the accomodation and taxes.

We loved that it was self contained and the location. The host was receptive and answered our questions. The location was handy to the waterfront ferry pick up point. It was quiet. The view out to the water was lovely. It was well heated, give how cold it was. The stove and oven worked beautifully. The shutters allowed quality sleep.

The appartment was beautiful the staff a lady called Lucia was just exceptional. She was very helpful warm.and friendly. We found her to be so friendly we didnt want to leave. The apparmemt was absolutely amazing with a great view and locality is just perfect for getting round. A big thank you to Lucia you were fantastic.

Everything was perfect we loved everything

The property is good, with a beautiful garden with water view. Very nice furniture and comfortable. The 3 bathrooms were perfect for our 8 people group.

Unfortunately, in the last night the warm water wasn’t working so after a long day of walking it’s not so good to wash yourself with very cold water.

Excellent location, well equipped accommodation for self-catering stay in Venice. Great view from the balcony. We would definitely return and recommend to others.

More comfortable seating on the balcony would have made the apartment even more perfect.

The apartment was beautiful, spacious and immaculate with full-sized kitchen and outdoor dining area. The furnishings were very nice. We enjoyed the quiet location away from the St. Mark’s crowds, but could quickly access that area via vaporettos that ran regularly (bought 48 hour passes). Guidecca doesn’t have much nightlife, but we had drinks and light dinner along water and got groceries at the local co-op. Host was warm and welcoming.

The apartment very quiet, with a great view of the sea (few steps away from the apartment). St. Mark's Square is super accessible, depending on the used vaporetto line, only 2 stops away. The host family was super nice and helpful and the Apartment facilities are absolutely beautiful. The Apartment furnished with three bathrooms which is very useful for big family ! The beds, chairs and couches very comfortable. Plenty of space for storage. Fully furnished kitchen and kitchenware. The location was ideal. Few shops and garden restaurants nearby. We loved this place and truly recommend it most highly !

Very good location away from the crowds of the main island but only one stop away on the motor bus. The apartment is fitted to a very high standard with lots of space and a large patio area outside. I would highly recommend it as a place to stay while visiting Venice.

The place was very nice and clean. We had a fantastic time. The apartment, looks like, was refurbished lately and is of high standard. We were welcomed by the host, who was very nice to us. I look forward to returning very soon again with the family.
