very big room, lots of space and nice, useful and well equipped kitchen.

The hotel was located in the centrum of the old city in Mechelen

The bathroom was the worst I have ever seen in the hotel. Everything was dirty, filthy and old. The shower was broken and the water didn’t drain.

Customer service was very poor

Do not stay here. It was noisy all night with shouting and banging on doors and many people coming and going. I was extremely uncomfortable as a solo traveller. It did not feel safe and I barely slept. I had booked for two nights and left after one. The shower was mouldy and the toilet was not clean.

Studio room,hence self catering

Being a studio room with kitchen, there was no extractor, window could not open making the room to be stuffy.

The beds were comfortable, the room efficiently stuffed, with a lot of light. There is an elevator and the location is nicely centered.

We booked 2 rooms. One was overheated, the other freezing cold. We adjusted the heating systems but it didn't solve the situation timely for the night. Parking places must be paid when coming by car... but the parking lot was overbooked so that we were lucky we could leave at all the next morning!!

We do not pay for brakefast.

Free cleaning once per 2 days. There is only paid cleaning.

Central location, very close to Nekkerspoel train station. Fast check-in and check-out ad very kind personnel at reception. The room was very big and having all is needed for short or long term stays. Room was very quiet, coming with a very comfortable bed.

Short overnight stay, did not have the chance to notice anything negative. Maybe the cheap materials used for the shower cabin are noticeable, as they are worn out, the base is rusty and outworn by the water.

The cleanliness of the property is a big NO and anyone who has decent hygiene standard wouldn't prefer such a shabby setup, The shower floor was flooding with dirty water from some other rooms. The WC was deeply stained and very old. Overall the bath room of our room was very much in bad condition. The kitchen sink was blocked before use and even the ceilings were leaking when some one in top floor were using kitchen sink :( .. The kitchen utensils provided were mostly scratched and unusable and waste bin was broken There was a stingy smell outside the room and people spiting on the elevators. The property is not maintained regularly and that shows everywhere, including the room, bathroom and surroundings. Overall doesn't recommend this property to anyone who want a clean and comfortable stay in Mechelen

Great location..... Easy walk to the lovely town centre and not far from the football ground either.

Room was slightly tired but fine for a base. We were a couple of Dad's with our sons visiting Mechelen to watch the football. For this purpose it was ideal. There appeared to be quite a few long term residents and a few men just hanging around.
