We stayed in the middle of winter. (It snowed!!) It was so great to come home and turn on the fireplace. It was so warm, as was central heating. The fireplace warmed the house. The place is beautifully renovated, lovely touches inside. Had everything. We parked the car and walked everywhere from here. The owners always replied immediately. A great place to stay.

Beautifully decorated and renovated kitchen and bathroom. But not really suitable access for anyone with mobility issues. Quiet but hilly location with a bit of a view.

My Mum and I thought the cottage was lovely. We enjoyed sitting in front of the fire in the evening. The garden was very pretty and the area quiet and convenient to everything. We didn’t want to leave.

The property is exactly as described. It is both clean and comfortable. All possible facilities are provided. The location is excellent and close to everything. The hosts kept us updated on issues during our stay and were easily contactable. This was our second stay at this property and we can only recommend this place and the hosts highly. We look forward to the possibility of staying there again. Thank you for a comfortable and relaxing holiday.

Charming property close to cafes, supermarkets and transport. So comfortable... especially sitting in front of the fireplace after a day of exploring all that Katoomba has to offer.
We put on a movie from the DVD library but fell asleep as we succumbed to the warmth from the fireplace and the coziness of the couch!

Cosy, warm and comfortable cottage in walking distance to restaurants, shops and the main street of town. Cottage was spotless on arrival, well appointed, great communication from hosts and easy to access. Highly recommend!

Spent two nights at this charming home located just a couple blocks from the main shopping area. Quick access to multiple bush walks throughout the area and a quick drive to the Three Sisters overlook. House was very clean and cozy with thoughtful touches such as board games and movies for a family night after a day of hiking. Would absolutely book again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this house. Very convenient to Katoomba, only 5 minutes walk up the hill. The home itself had everything we needed in the way of utensils and appliances. It was very warm and did not take long to heat up when we got in in the evening.

We loved the 1930s style of living ...very cosy and quaint.
the kitchen was beautifully stocked with cutlery,glasses of types and purposes.We also loved the immaculate condition of the kitchen and the spectacular stove.
Thankyou for having sufficient kitchen cleaning products and powder for the washing machine.
The bedrooms and beds were in great and comfortable condition. We loved the fireplace and heating on such a cold weekend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay at this lovely cottage. Green Gables is extremely comfortable, warm and well equipped cottage with plenty of space for 4 adults. It was a haven on a wet and cold weekend. We would definitely return.

Green Gables was the perfect Blue Mountains stay. You get the perks of a quaint little cottage combined with modern amenities due to an updated kitchen and bathroom and incredible heating throughout. It’s a short walk to the centre of Katoomba too. 5/5 Would come back to stay here in future.

We stayed for 4 days and made this cottage our base, so cozy and warm.
All modern cons with tradtional furnishings.
To greet us was a bottle of sparkling wine complements of the owners.

It was exactly the experience you want to have in Katoomba - quaint, cozy and very comfortable. The house is lovely, lots of charm and everything you could need for a short or longer stay. We had a great time and it is very close to all the shops and sights.

Lovely cottage
Loved staying at this cottage for the weekend as first time visitors to the Blue Mountains. The cottage was beautifully decorated, excellent heating, very comfortable beds and extras provided like olive oil, condiments, glad wrap etc. Excellent communication with the owners too! We could walk to the Main Street for shopping and numerous cafes. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I had a lovely Birthday weekend in the Blue Mountains . The cottage was very cute and charming . It was very clean and well maintained . Its very centrally located and we could walk to the near by cafes and restaurants . Overall my family and I have thoroughly enjoyed our weekend away .
