Breakfast was a little small

I really liked the atmosphere at the hotel, the staff and owner were really nice people :) also they have a really cool pool that everyone shares a moment there. I also really enjoyed the breakfast, hammocks and the shower available next to the pool, so we could refresh in time to time as it was really hot!

Nothing in particular, I stayed one night and would definitely stay with them again!

I arrived early with the night bus and could sleep in the hammocks until my room was ready. The staff was very friendly.

The bathroom was not so clean but ok.

Struttura sporchissima, il bagno palesemente non era stato pulito prima del nostro arrivo, non so come si possa definire questo posto pulito. La piscina puzzava di cane bagnato, la stanza non aveva vetri alle finestre quindi ci siamo dovuti sorbire tutto il casino degli altri ospiti e oltre. La colazione immangiabile. Hanno applicato il 5% di commissione per il pagamento con carta. Davvero non capisco chi possa dare un buon punteggio a questo posto. Imbarazzante

Really cool hostel with a great vibe near the jungle :)

A nice place to stay before or after a Jungle tour. Comfortable beds, a clean pool to cool off in and hammocks to relax. Breakfast was simple but good and the hostel also had a bar where you could order food and snacks. Only a 5 minute walk to restaurants, shops and bars.

There is no aircon so the rooms are pretty hot, ceiling fans do help though. Mosquito nets over the beds would be good as they get into the room through gaps in the window nets. The bathrooms are quite old and could do with a revamp however it is cheap!

There’s a nice hammock area to chill

Rooms are really basic and bathrooms are not so functional. The pool’s cleanliness is questionable. Breakfast is ok although we both got stomach issues

The cleaning was HORRIBLE. There were big stains on our sheet when we arrived. The bathroom had chunks of hair both in the shower and straight on the bathroom floor. The sink was disgusting… Towels smelled like mold.

Great hostel for a stop over before or after a jungle trip. Pool was a very welcome addition! Really comfy vibe to the hostel. Staff were very helpful and so caring when I needed a doctor to come to the hostel. They organised everything, translated for me and checked I was doing ok after being very sick. Overall great hostel!

Good spot before or after your trip to the Amazon, we hung out in the hammocks when we arrived from our night bus which was really nice. Breakfast was good and water refills for a small price is amazing. They have some cats roaming around which I also loved!

Comfortable bed, nice swimming pool, good price and location of the hostel.

There was a smoker next to our room and we couldn't close the window, the beer prices were over prized and it was a little noisy.

- The staff was really great during our stay (3days) - Very sociable cats everywhere (my dream) - We could hang out on hammocks near the pool and use facilities before check in (we arrived around 6.30-7AM)

- Our room and private bathroom were extremely dirty (ie. poo on the bathroom wall, clogged drain with huge amounts of hair, mountains of clay and dust in room) - Private room is tiny and only contains a bed. No night table, no dresser, no table, no chair, absolutely nothing to put your things on - Rooms do not have windows (only screens) so everything that happens inside , everyone can hear outside. Everything that happens outside, you can hear inside. There is absolutely no privacy, even when you go to the bathroom… Also, the private rooms face the hammocks common area where everyone hangs out so it’s very loud in the room (you can almost feel you are out there with them) and all the smokers smoke goes into the room. - There were works going on while we were there, starting 8AM till evening. A lot of continuous staring coming from the workers, which made me feel uncomfortable. - While checking out, I was rushed in paying at the reception counter by a teenager who gave me the total amount owed but didn’t break it down. It didn’t sit well with me so I went back before going on my tour and asked for a detailed count of what I payed. Turns out He tried to Rob me of 14BOB (the amount is small, but I do not condone the act). His superiors came and checked things out and were as confused as I was : he didn’t have to calculate anything as the system does it for you. He just has to give the amount and collect the money. He chose to take a couple bucks more.

Great pool, great staff, great facilities. Rooms are cleaned daily, when you arrive you can chill in the hammocks until the rooms are ready for check-in and you can use the showers beforehand too - very thoughtful and convenient. Rooms are clean. Dorms a little small for your big backpacks but dorms were never full when i was there so this wasn't really an issue

Fantastic hostel with nice pool (very needed after a trip to the sweaty jungle!). Very sociable place with nice bar, really easy to meet people. The location is great, and the staff are super lovely, very knowledgeable and helpful (they can book buses and flights!). The dorm beds are comfy and clean.

The bathrooms could do with a little makeover, although they were not dirty.

Breakfast is very simple, staff is not very polite. Also we missed one breakfast because it was written it is from 8 o 10 on booking but in reality it was until 9. At 9:15 we ask them if we can still eat breakfast and they say no, meanwhile they were eating the leftovers inside. 0 flexibility and understanding. Food is overpriced and tbh you can find much better alternatives in Rurre.
