Great place to spot northern lights, if the night sky is clear! Very cozy cabin and beautiful views of the mountains.

The heating system was very noisy, so bring your ear plugs for sleeping especially, if you are more than 2 people and some of you are sleeping in the living room. The door was a bit tricky to lock, you have to use force.

Zu 4. ist es doch sehr eng aber ausreichend für eine Nacht. Wassertank kann ca. 15 min heißes Wasser abgeben, Nachfüllung dauert 2 Stunden, hat für uns aber ausgereicht.

Good location

It was a cold wet windy day. We were excited to have a warm cabin to relax and get warm. We were disappointed with how chilly cabin was when arrived and when we went to watch something on TV only 2 channels … not the best night. Our least favorite stay on our trip of 13 different locations.

New and very clean. Perfect location for viewing Northern Lights. Well-equipped little kitchen for self-catering simple dinner and breakfast. Self check-in/out very easy.

- in the midle of nowhere = piece and quiet - great views - relaxing atmosphere - clean and spacious - all amenities - looked like it was recently refurbished - check-in possible all day long - great stay on the way to the glaciers

- access road could be in better shape- gravel and lots of boulders (not the hotels fault of course, but something to keep in mind- drive slow)

There are great views to take in from the guest house. As a family of three, we would definitely stay here again. The guest house clean and all set up for us when we arrived. They have all of the basics needed, like coffee and located not far from town, which has a grocery store and gas station.

Unfortunately, the guest house is located approximately 4 km from a paved road on a gravel road. This is only a factor when renting a car, and the agreement is not to drive on gravel roads.

Super comfy bed and couch, large windows with nice view. Quiet and private. Available kitchen utensils and stuff/devices in the cottages are well chosen - seems like someone really took a minute to think about what guests would need there.

A gravel pit near the cottages. It’s not blocking the view to the nearby mountains over vast fields, there was no noise, but it’s there. We don’t know though who was there first.

- Perfect location - Very prompt in replying if any issues -Individual cabin was perfect/spacious for 3 ppl with all amenities required and open concept while having privacy - Cleanliness was very good -Peaceful environment for disconnecting -Stargazing and possible aurora

-Hot water could be longer for 3 ppl but we understand the limitation due to location -Gravel road was a bit challenging on the way to the cabin but manageable by going driving super slow

Very cute little cottage, located in on an isolated farmers field with views onto the landscape. Very well equipped kitchen and living space perfect for longer stays. Despite two crazy storms, we had perfect wifi and everything worked. Clean rooms, nice views and nice place to enjoy nature.

Cottage could use a little more room for luggage space.

we did self check in. it was very convenient. I called the reception few times, they were very helpful and patient.

It rained the whole night. We didn’t see northern lights.

Me and my girlfriend had a plan to visit Brú guesthouse in december, but due to weather we had to postpone it. The staff could not be nicer, they were so kind and good to talk to. We instead went in january and it was all what we expected and more. The staff put two roses on the bed, the cottage is Very big and more than enough space for us tvo. The next morning we woke up to bad weather and because we couldnt go nowhere due to roads being closed. We contacted the staff and it was no problem for us to stay longer than the check out time until it was safe to drive again. They were very helpful and we are so happy with them and are 100% coming back soon
