very comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches. everything you need for self contained stay

Everything we needed. Comfortable spacious house. We stayed for 2 night over New Year, good location for the Tongariro Crossing and also the Carrot play ground. near to shops, places to eat but also had good utensils, dishes, cooking facilities to make a meal at home. Mountain can be seen from the front garden and you can sit outside at the back and watch the birds in the trees by the stream.

Very clean, comfortable and warm. Quiet area of town.

Fireplace was nice, but unfortunately didn't produce lots of heat. The heatpump was required.

Really nice and comfortable beds with bed heaters. Really nice lounge area. Functional kitchen. Great location

Plates were not washed properly. Unpleasant eggs smell when I opened the pantry cupboards. We got rid of the smell by putting you all the dishes in the dishwasher. Shower was not that great. We either got burning hot water or freezing cold water.

Really cannot fault this accommodation and will definitely stay there again.

It does have a few quirks but nothing worth noting.

Perfect to have a home to stay in when away for work - motels are very cramped & lack fridge space & cooking facilities

Alot of bees when sitting outside - seemed to be everywhere in Ohakune though
