Este lugar es un paraiso entre el mar y la montaña, excelente servicio, la atencion y la calidez de los miembros del hotel te hacen sentir aun mas a gusto con este lugar. Cada vez qye tenga la oportunidad volveré a este magico lugar.

Die Bilder weichen von dem jetzigen Zustand der Anlage sowie des Zimmers ab. Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen und leider nicht sehr gepflegt. Wir haben für 4 Nächte viel Geld bezahlt und wurden enttäuscht. Da nicht gründlich geputzt war, haben wir daraufhin gewiesen, wirklich verändert hatte sich nichts (wenigstens waren die Haare der vorherigen Bewohner aus der Dusche entfernt). Des Weiteren hat uns auch der Manager angesprochen ob alles nun in Ordnung sei, aber was soll man in solch einer Situation sagen? Der Pool war übrigens an Tag 3 so schmutzig, dass wir ihn nicht benutzt haben.

Really good location! You can walk just down the road to get to the Calablazo entrance of Tayrona Park or take a bus for about 15 mins to the main entrance. The pool is gorgeous and it’s such lovely surroundings. We enjoyed the parrots and peacocks! The bed is comfy and it’s so quiet at night, we slept very well. Being able to check out at 1pm is great!

Our room wasn’t very clean. The floor felt very dirty and our shower had sand in it, presumably from the previous guests. Also our shower didn’t drain so on the first night only one of us could shower, once we told the staff it was sorted quickly though.

Great value, located across the street from a second entrance to the park. The room was lovely, AC was cold and the beds were so comfortable!!! We loved it here, the staff was amazingly friendly and full of great travel tips. The restaurant is delicious! They have parrots, peacocks and bunnies and it is attached to a plant nursery, so the grounds are gorgeously cared for. We highly recommend this for families or anyone, 5 stars! 😍

The pool, the scenery, the environment, and the whole stay was amazing. We added another night.

There was a bit of garbage between the rooms.

amazing food, pool, comfy rooms and gorgeous flower nursery filled with beautiful birds. the food is seriously some of the best we had in all of Colombia. the flavors were very pronounced and local.

We loved garden with all birds. It was magical.

Exceptionally friendly staff A swimming pool, billiards, breakfast and parking included. The owner graciously permitted to keep the car while in Tayrona for 3 days.

WiFi would connect but the internet connection was poor or nonexistent.

the floor of the room was a bit unclean and the first morning there was no warm water in the shower. (bathroom was perfectly clean)

This hotel was so nice. We stayed two nights, and hiked in Tayrona Park one of the days, entering from the Calabazo entrance. The hotel is incredibly good value for money, with a very comfortable room and plenty of good facilities (huge pool, soccer pitch, pool table, etc). The staff were so helpful over the two days, and arranged a taxi for us to our next destination.

The food could be a bit better. Breakfast we enjoyed, dinner was okay.

We arrived really late and the restaurant was closed, but they were really nice and opened it again for us. They have the best squid in colombia 😀

The staff and owner couldn't do enough to please. There wasn't hot water in the showers when we arrived and when we expressed our disappointment hot water was installed the next day - amazing. The hotel site is beautiful and spacious. Lovely wildlife around looked after by the hotel. The owner is always on site, he was very helpful on advising on our Tayrona National Park Tour, which entrance to use and helped us with buses etc. Nothing was too much trouble

There was nothing to dislike

I've been to many hotels already, but the friendliness and helpfulness of the people here was absolutely outstanding! Also the entire place is so beautiful and full of plants and animals. Plus: it's super close to the Calabazo entrance of Tayrona park.

Property was incredible. It looks as though it's used as a tropical plant nursery. Guests are allowed to walk all through the plants and interact with the many animals on the property (parrots, hens, rabbits, ducks, frogs, dogs, cats, etc.) We took a bus from Barranquilla, and the hostel is on the main road toward Tayrona. Very easy drop-off. Room was sparkling clean with good air conditioning. Strong WiFi. Pool was crystal clear pristine. We enjoyed a delicious dinner the night we arrived, and appreciated the authentic breakfast included in the morning.

No one at the property spoke any English, so be prepared with a translator app if your Spanish isn't great!

Lovely calm and green area, with nice flora and fauna. The staff is very polite and helpful. Would recommend!

The best salmon in their restaurant, in all of Colombia

Due to circumstances we couldn't arrange our transport from the airport to Portales by ourselves on time. Last minute, we asked the hotel if it was still possible to pick us up as offered before. They immediately arranged a driver, which was great. The lush garden is beautiful and was well maintained. The personnel is friendly and helpful.

We stayed there for 3 nights, but strangely enough the restaurant was closed for dinner during the whole weekend without any notification. In the village only one basic restaurant was available. The gate closed at 9 pm. The cleaning of the room was also skipped on sunday. Only the owner of Portales speaks English, but he was out of town during our stay. And therefore, communication was challenging with the personnel.

The grounds surrounding the hotel are absolutely beautiful. The room is nice and clean with a big comfy bed. The food at the restaurant was delicious. Big thank you to Juan for being so helpful with everything!
