Very spacious! Beautiful lake views. Attentive property manager. Lots to do in the surrounding area.

We would stay again. It was a beautiful time for family memories.

We stayed for a week in July for a family gathering—11 of us from age 10 to 78. Our experience had negatives and positives. The major problem was that we were never able to use the pool. We were told all week that it was unsafe to swim in—and it looked VERY cloudy. Not having a pool was extremely disappointing for all of us. As I told the owner, the pool was a major part of the reason we chose the house, and we only looked at houses with pools. The owner did apologize and she has promised us a small partial refund, but we have not yet received it (two weeks past rental). She also has not responded to our request for a larger refund. Other negatives: Many rooms were difficult to keep cool in the heat of the day. And the house really needed some more regular maintenance, as lots of little things were broken or missing. For the most part, these were minor annoyances that you could overlook (and we mostly did), but for the price charged for the home, it was surprising. There were also positives, and if not for the promised refund that we have not received, we would have given a higher rating. The house is spacious and large, and had plenty of room for our group of 11, both in terms of bedrooms/bathrooms and in the dining and living areas. The lake view is beautiful and we got to see different water fowl (and an otter) throughout the week we were there. We also enjoyed fires in the firepit, playing pool and ping-pong, and the wine/beer fridges were nice to have.

This is a well maintained property. Kitchen has everything needed to prepare meals for a large group. Plenty of extra linens & towels. Loved the pool & the lake. Jackie was very hospitable & quickly answered every time I called or texted.

This house and property have all the makings to be a SUPER place to rent. It needs major TLC. My suggestion: Close it down for a week to paint, to do a DEEP cleaning, repair broken items, maintain landscaping and pool. That being said, we had a wonderful and memorable time by overlooking the TLC issues. Grand kids said it was one of their best vacations. Working with the owner and property manager was extremely easy.

It was a cool week with occasional showers, but we found things to do--dock fishing, kayak, canoe, visiting sites in the area, ping-pong and games inside the house and campfires at night. It is a peaceful place. We found out the week before our visit that the pool was not available to us due to maintenance issues but the owner offered us a small refund and the use of her kayak and canoe in exchange as a good will gesture, I accepted. The gas grill was in horrible shape, it took my husband and son over an hour to clean the grates and burners before we could use it---the burners were rusty and really need to be replaced. When I brought it to the house mgr attention, Jackie said, "I'll probably replace it at the end of the season." It did service us for the week. I was moving the toaster and a large amount of crumbs came out from the bottom the pull out tray was loaded, as were the slots, I cleaned the toaster, lining the bottom of the sink with the crumbs and filling up the sink strainer, Jackie apologized about the toaster saying that shouldn't be. I was told that the bathrooms would have a couple of back up rolls of toilet paper---most bathrooms had small used rolls under the sinks, 2 bathrooms had one full roll with a used roll--Jackie did bring a few extra rolls when she came to check the pool. Jackie, the house mgr. was pleasant, approachable, and responsive -- but maybe her staff needs to be better trained or supervised.

Great property. It was everything we needed for a week away from home. We stayed with extended family and the area offered something for everyone. Jackie, the property manager was exceptional. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful house for a fun and relaxing bachelorette party weekend! The lake was so peaceful. We enjoyed everything! :)

This was so smooth from start to finish. The owner, and manager were great to deal with and the house is BEAUTIFUL! 10/10 would stay here again.

Jackie was a wonderful property manager and was extremely timely with communication. The property worked great for our large group that included kids. As the title says would 100% stay again. The house was well stocked with everything in the kitchen and linens were comfy! The views are stunning from this house. We can’t wait for our next stay.

Beautiful setting, adequate kitchen supplies with a very small food refrigerator for a house of this size. The house needs work, drywall scraps left on shelf, sliding doors did not open, air conditioners left in bedrooms from summer. The property/house was not as clean as we have seen in past stays, windows left open. No garage available, TVs didn't work (we used our own), heat was off/not working in main floor bedroom. We had to find the towels as they are not in the bathrooms. Tried to communicate with manager, but no response for hours and no help when there was a response. Literally, let in with key left under the door mat.

We rented this house for Thanksgiving weekend. We had 14 guests, including adults and children ranging from 17-3 years of age. Upon arrival we realized that 3 of the bedrooms on the second floor did not have electricity. I called the property manager, Jackie, who said “yes, I know. We’ve had electricians there all day”. Wow! You didn’t think that was something we should have been informed of prior to arrival? There was an awful burning smell in the master bedroom, which we called Jackie about at 10:00pm on the first night. Needless to say we were unable to use those 3 bedrooms. We had guests sleeping on couches all weekend. We’ve reached out to the property manager, who assured us that she would have the owners contact us. We’ve heard from neither since our stay. The house is beautiful but is in need of some repair. It was ridiculous that our family was not notified of the electrical problem prior to our arrival and is insulting that neither Jackie nor the owners have contacted us after our requests for them to do so.

Everything was awesome about this rental. My only frustration was that we came in December and not earlier in the year where we could have experienced everything it had to offer. Communication was superb. There was more than enough space for all of us and we just enjoyed our time together. You will love being here.

Great place to get together and relax. Only problem was in the primary bedroom. Venting tube from portable ?A/C unit was not sealed properly in the window leaving a large gap to the outside. Room was very cold.

We had an amazing stay at the lake house. The view was great, neighborhood was quiet, and our vacation was great!

Beautiful large home big enough for 11 women to spread out. Loved the outdoor seating and pool.

Overall an amazing week on the lake with extended family. Fire pit at night was the highlight for sure! We had fun in the pool and kayaking in the lake. Such a beautiful property. Some things broken in house (a/c, garbage disposal, some adarondeck chairs would fall apart while sitting in them, hammock swing fell when sitting in it (hurt tail bone), sliding door broken, kitchen faucet handle kept falling off, , water pressure and temp in shower, fan, stairs off dock not good

We had a great time together for our family of 17! It was a great spot in Chautauqua, close enough for two of our daughters to take classes at the Institute and for us to enjoy lots of activities around the lake.

Certainly not the end of the world. Jackie, who managed the property, was fantastic. Reached out early, arranged for wood for the firepit and was happy to assist with anything.

Our group had an amazing time and there was plenty of space to spread out. Loved everything about the house and our stay!

We stayed here for a golf trip in the area and the house was amazing. It had room and beds for a large group. The property was great a decent amount of yard space and fire pit. Unfortunately, the dock was not put in yet which we hoped to do some fishing off of. The grass in the yard also seemed to not be cut yet this year. Our only other issue was with the plumbing in the house. The showers had terrible water pressure. The property manager was very helpful with any questions we had and arranged for us to get fire wood for the weekend.
