The location was wonderful. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was adequately equipped. The owner’s communication and checking in instructions were excellent. WiFi is good. Nice TV.

The stairs are very steep, especially those to the bedrooms, and the stair carpets are rather worn, therefore slightly worrying. There are signs of damp in the lounge and stair ceilings. There is inadequate lighting on the stairs. The property is in need of a little TLC.

We were there 5 days and only had 1 towel for each of us for the whole time (there were 4 of us). Would have appreciated having a couple more to use. The lighting in both bathrooms wasn’t very bright, so unable to put on makeup in the bathrooms. Brighter lights in there would be great.

had everything you need there, great kitchen facilities with everything you would need being away, cooker fridge freezer, fans, hoover, plenty of glasses cutlery etc, both bedrooms had en suites plenty of hangers and storage, and although you are very central it wasn’t too loud either. Instructions on how to access property on arrival was easy to follow as well. and the location was brilliant being opposite the castle and all the surrounding area with the shops and restaurants within walking distance. No parking but you can see why due to the location so we paid to park at a hotel a 10 minute walk away which was cheaper than parking charges closed.

it’s good to note that access to the property once your through the door are up some steep stairs, and then another flight of stairs to the bedrooms. my mum is 70 and just managed otherwise if no mobility issues it’s fine. Whilst it has everything you need there is a lot of wear on the carpets and walls throughout so could do with a bit of a make over, but if this doesn’t bother you it’s great.

The stairs to the bedrooms are really narrow & steep. As we were all flying out on international flights we all had large heavy suitcases none of which we could get up the stairs so had to lay them all out on the kitchen and living room floor. more emphasis needed in description on steepness/narrowness of stairs

Old stained carpets, needs re-decorating throughout and an attempt at making a 'de-luxe' apartment actually look like one. Inadequate chairs (one one for six people? really!), only part of settee actually comfortable. Have never felt so fleeced in my life.

Location was excellent, fab view of castle out of front windows, but you have to be happy with being woken early by deliveries as you are above shops and restaurants. Early noise of deliveries Bedrooms have blinds but are still really light. There just wasn't enough crockery, 4 bowls for 5 of us, then 5 of other stuff so you're washing up all the time. 4 chairs for the dining table. It's manageable of you're there for a short break and you're eating out mostly. The carpets are really badly stained, it makes the whole place feel dirty when it actually isn't Ceiling is peeling away in places.

Superb central location, everything you need is provided inside the apartment. Despite being located above shops and on main road it was fairly quiet inside the apartment.

Although we were advised of steep stairs, the staircase to the bedrooms is incredibly steep so defiantly not for older clientele.

the stairs are steep and narrow to the bedrooms . showers is small hard to bend down to pick up the shower gel . the booking confirmation said we had to be out of the accommodation at 11.00 , a follow up email then said be out by 10.00 . it is a warm apartment , if you open the window at night you get a lot of street noise evening and early morning deliveries

A third fan that worked would help to have 1 for LR and 2 bedrooms. Sheer curtains would have allowed light and view in without compromising privacy.

very noisy area. signs on walls in property to say it’s in a quiet residential area - this isn’t the case. was told that the property was accessible by stairs but didn’t know there was another set of stairs which were very steep and narrow to access the bedrooms and bathrooms. property looking tired, needs to be re-decorated. stains on carpet and walls. old fridge left in the kitchen

Apartment was clean.

TV did not function. Refrigerater did not function since the door did not close. One of the showers did not function; only very hot water came out of it.
