Well equipped beach front rental perfect for families. Plenty of activities for all ages. Home is beautiful, pool, ping pong/pool and the theater are highlights. We participated in a baby turtle release with Paul (host) that was once in a lifetime experience. Highly recommend staying here if you want to be away from the busy area of Seven Mile Beach.

Beautiful, upscale, ocean view, with fabulous hosts Paul and Fay Anne. All the creature comforts one could desire. Once you get your groceries, put on your reef safe sunscreen, and head to the beach and house reef, you are set to relax and enjoy. Paul and Fay Anne shared their knowledge and love of the island and the experience of two releases of newly hatched turtles. Fabulous vacation for us and our adult children.

Property description is accurate, Paul and his wife are right next door and very helpful . Apartment has everything you could need, several groceries on way to the apartment.The location is beautiful, but the beach is very rocky. It is a perfect location to get away and feel like you’re on your own little island. I would only suggest adding a tower type fan to each bedroom as it is very warm.(there is one in the master bedroom)

Amazing. Baby sea turtles hatched on the beach and were swimming in the pool when we woke up. Owner knew how to release them. The place was perfect. It was a dream vacation. Worth every penny.

The property was just as expected. Right on the beach, quiet and secluded. Snorkling in the bay was excellent except that it was a challenge to get into the water, quite rocky. But with water shoes, everything was smooth sailing once the water was waist high. The location was what we wanted - away from the crowds and private. When we did go to seven mile beach, the longest drive was 45 minutes ( as long as it wasn't rush hour). While we were there, a nest of turtles under the sand hatched and two of them got left behind. So we had the privilege to watch the release of those 2 turtle hatchlings, thanks to Paul. Anyway highly recommend to people who want to keep things private.

Can’t stress enough how awesome this place is. It’s like you are a celebrity with your very own beach and bay - just for you and yours to enjoy. The restaurants around are so good - special shout out to Tukka (ask for Tido as your waiter) as well as Czech Inn. Ocean Frontiers Scuba was so close and they were a spot on professional organization. Can’t say enough about 1/2 Moon Bay - AWESOME!

The owner, Paul, was an awesome host! He had everything we could possibly need or want, and was very helpful ahead time with great suggestions as we planned our trip to Grand Cayman. The house was even better than how the pictures and the website described it. Besides the quiet, beautiful setting, the house sits on one of the best snorkeling spots on the island. Half Moon Bay teams with all kinds of ocean life. The house is also not far from some of the best “locals” places to eat at very reasonable prices. And for divers, Ocean Frontiers is only a 7 minute drive away. Looking forward to hopefully staying there again soon.

Paul and Fay Ann are wonderful hosts! They truly want your stay to be special. The apartment is big and the kitchen is clean and modern. We loved that each of us had a full bathroom. We would recommend this place to anyone! Great experience.

Sky at Crescent Beach is spectacular--both the house and the natural environment around it. We came with our two teenage sons for a pre-Christmas holiday, and were impressed. The space is beautiful with a high ceiling and spectacular views of the bay--sunsets to the right, sunrises to the left! There are a dozen places to sit and read or eat. Every amenity has been thought of--a generously stocked and well equipped kitchen, a first aid kit, sunscreen, a bottle of wine, a rum cake, two kinds of fancy soap.... Snorkeling in the bay is wonderful. Getting in and out is a bit of a challenge over the rocks, but we saw amazing things--a giant puffer fish, a nurse shark, spiny lobsters, and a juvenile eagle ray. The East End is relatively quiet. We avoided ever driving to the busy part of the island, but we found a ton of great things to do right near by. Recommend the blue iguana sanctuary and botanical garden. Lovely place and with thoughtful hosts. Highly recommend.

Thank you Paul and Anna Fey!!!! Best host you could hope for. Great communication from even before we booked. Recommendations on anything we asked for and they were all great. They were always accessible anytime we had a question etc. Paul met us when we pulled in to property. Although we ensured him we were good, he jumped right in and helped us unload the groceries from the car we had ordered from Hurleys online. (Highly Recommended) He gave us a full tour of 'sky' and all the common areas around the pool and game / theatre areas. He showed us everything we needed to know about operations of everything. The accommodations were very nice. Large beds with comfortable mattresses and linens. Modern baths, and kitchen with many cooking utensils and appliances. There was beach chairs, coolers, towels, even additional snorkel gear / pfd's etc. available to take when going to different beach areas around the island. However it is very comfortable to stay here all day on the beach, pool, snorkeling etc. and not go anywhere if you want. The southern facing property gives you the most sun possible sunrise to sunset, awesome! One very nice feature was the fact that there was nothing we had to do before we left. No cleaning, dishes, laundry, etc. all we had to do was pack, every minute we were on our vacation until the time we had to fly out. Many VRBO locations leave you a long list of items to be done before leaving or additional fees added blah blah blah. I could write a short book on all the positives about our stay but I will end with the water and snorkeling right out the back door in Crescent Beach. You have the whole bay to yourself! Paul told me they have some of the best snorkeling around the island. That is a big statement for Grand Cayman! For those that have been, you know what I mean. Well, he was correct, the variety of fish, coral, sea fans, enamines, and sea urchins was amazing. 'Paul Jr' as I call him, a large Puffer Fish that apparently has lived there for a long time was my favorite! Just a small list we saw: Spiny lobster, grouper, lemon fish, grunts, sergeant majors, angel fish, butterfly fish, scorpion fish, rays, flounder, parrot fish, chubs, porgy, snapper and more. I hope to post photos if possible.

Our family loved this property- it’s beautiful! Crescent Beach at Half Moon Bay is exactly as listed and you can trust the perfect Reviews. It is clean comfortable and there are so many thoughtful details. Paul and Fay Anne are super responsive and they couldn’t be nicer. We loved the low key vibe and beauty of East End. Our vacation was perfect Thank you so much for sharing your home with us.

There are those who rental houses and those who host. This is the latter. Paul was helpful throughout with reservations and guidance. It was like having a best friend as a local.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sky at Crescent Beach. Kids love swimming in the pool and of course playing on the Xbox during downtime. We all loved being right on the ocean and listening to the sound of the waves. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could have needed and my husband liked being able to grill the fish he caught on the BBQ.

I echo the sentiments of others that have stayed in the apartment before my family and I. Paul and Fay Anne are excellent hosts and two genuinely beautiful souls. They were very supportive of us during our quarantine stay collecting our groceries at the supermarket for us and always calling to check in to make sure that we were comfortable and had no concerns. The apartment itself is very comfortable and has everything you need and then some. The view is of course the best part! I would absolutely stay here again and recommend to others.

Crescent Beach - Sky was the PERFECT escape from the Michigan winter!! Beautiful location - Pool was wonderful for relaxing in - Snorkeling directly in front of property was great - Kayaks were put to use every day - many good restaurants just a short drive away without having to fight the 7-mile beach craziness!! Appreciated the new little "shop rite" within walking distance for last minute items or an ice cream bar :) Paul and Fay Anne were wonderful host/hostess and we were blessed to share their beautiful property for one week ...wishing we would have made it longer!! Loved being on the East and would highly recommend staying at Crescent Beach with Paul and Fay Anne!! We thoroughly enjoyed a day at Rum Point, which was an easy drive around the East End of the Island, but to be honest the views, privacy and comfort of Crescent Beach were hard to leave and so when some of our party headed to 7 Mile Beach we chose to stay and enjoy Crescent Beach all to ourselves!!

This was our second time staying at Crescent Beach and our first time staying in the sky apartment. The things we really enjoy about this home and location are: quiet location- you really do have the area to yourselves easy to find restaurants for meals: 10-25 min drive. In January we never waited for a seating. snorkeling- walk into the water from the beach or head to another beach access down the road owners willingness and availability to attend to guests needs We plan to come back and hope to stay at Crescent Beach again.

My wife and I went to Grand Cayman 25 years ago before kids and have always considered it our favorite Caribbean/Winter destination. This time we took all three of our kids plus a fiancé as the one last hurrah before the kids go out on their own and make their own family memories. We were right on 7 mile beach the first time and like to get off the beaten path any more while traveling so we looked at options on the East end. I will have to say that we were very excited with the listing at crescent beach on Home Away. It looked amazing and just what we were looking for. It has been rare in our experience, but pictures and descriptions don't capture how wonderful this property is! The layout is perfect, the quality is amazing, the hosts are like a trusted neighbor that is always available to help and advise you but is not intrusive and you can literally be in the ocean in about a dozen long strides. We went back to Cemetery Beach on 7 mile beach where we were at 25 years ago to take in an afternoon of snorkeling because of my memory of how great the reefs were. I was amazed to find that the snorkeling right in front of our rental on crescent beach was even better. Listen to Paul for recommendations for grocery stores and restaurants as he was spot on. There is even a good hospital, a very convenient smaller grocery/liquor store and a restaurant right around the corner about 2 minutes away. We also had some pretty good pizza at the Lighthouse Restaurant in the first little settlement to the West one night when we felt the need to lay off the seafood for a meal. We took an easy 45 minute drive to the furthest point of the island from our location for our daughter to swim with the dolphins and the whole family to ride horses on the beach and even take off the saddles and literally swim the horses out in the ocean. While we were down there we also did the sea turtle experience and had a great lunch right on the ocean at the Cracked Conch. We also took a half day to head down to the area in Georgetown where the cruise ships let off passengers and the ladies shopped till they dropped while my nineteen year old son who could legally drink for the first time and I got a patio table at Margeritaville and chilled with great drinks and food. The living space at the house was just perfect and the view off the deck amazing. We can't thank Paul and Faye Anne enough for giving our family a very fond memory that will last a lifetime.

We had a lovely week at Crescent Beach. The property was exactly as advertised. Amazing location with complete privacy. Every amenity was included. The views and snorkeling were spectacular. Host was incredibly accommodating. Highly recommended!

House was quiet and clean. Pool was very nice to have. Paul and Fay Anne were amazing and the dogs were a bonus :)!

We have been traveling the Caribbean for 27 years and this was the best place we have stayed so far. The Sky unit has incredible views with rolling waves and the sound of the ocean hitting the sand. It is so peaceful on the east side away from the craziness of Georgetown. Just a 30-40 minute car ride to anywhere. The diving was incredible and our hosts, Paul and Faye Anncould not be nicer! Paul actually let us in on some turtle hatching while we were there. Nature at it’s finest! We can’t wait to return as soon as possible!

This was a beautiful property with all the conveniences of home. Paul and Fay Anne were fantastic hosts with great suggestions on what to do and where to eat. A welcome basket with a bottle of wine and rum cake greeted us upon arrival, along with Paul and Fay Anne who even helped bring in our luggage. It’s nice to have someone local close by, but they never interrupt your stay you unless you need something. We came as VRBO guests but left as friends. Our family is already planning our next trip back.

So beautiful. So very beautiful. Mornings, evenings, even nighttime when you are looking up and seeing a brilliant display of stars in a very dark sky that we in cities rarely see anymore, all beautiful. In the building looking out. On the sweeping veranda overlooking not only the Caribbean, but a beach, not just any beach, but a beautiful private beach, with its own bay, not just any bay, but one protected by its own coral reef. In the hammock or in the water (while getting in and out is not easy, once in the snorkeling is amazing), wherever you are, you are unmistakably on a dream vacation in paradise. Paul and Fay Ann are almost worth the price of admission on their own. Colorful, kind, gracious hosts of the 1st rank. They have seen to it that you can have an extraordinary vacation without leaving your vacation home. You are greeted with a Care Package on your dinning room table consisting of a bottle of wine and a (famous) Tortuga Rum Cake.There is a pool table that converts to a Ping pong table. A lovely pool with soothing jets of water. A private chapel where we held our Sunday Morning service our selves. And oh!, don't forget the private theater with an enormous library of classic films. There is a perfectly placed fire pit on your beach. They even have beach chairs and snorkel gear that you are free to use. The Grand Stair Case is your first tip that this is no ordinary building and it just continues to unroll from there. Built so solidly that when the heavy sliding glass doors (hurricane proof) are closed you are in one of the quietest places on earth. The kitchen is well appointed, but you are not far from some wonderful restaurants and Paul will be happy to describe them and direct you. Want to get away? I have not scratched the surface. In our week there we only were able to fit in a fraction of what was offered. Cheap, not by any means, BUT so much less than you would expect for an experience of this caliber.

Our party of 4 became a party of two last minute so it was just myself and my 6 year old son. We had a blast. He really enjoyed the pool, sand, and the chickens. While this is a great set up for adults, there is also plenty for kids to do as well. Paul has a great movie selection and an Xbox so kids can spend time entertaining themselves out of the sun. The views were really great and Paul was an excellent host. We will be back for sure.

Apartment was nice and clean. View was amazing. Snorkeling right off the shore on a private beach. Quiet area, aside from the natural alarm clock named Chicklee (the resident rooster), but close enough 25-30 minutes from Georgetown and 7 mile.

Rented both upstairs and downstairs apartments for a family trip, first time in Caymans. View from house is worth the trip. Everything was comfortable and convenient. Homeowners are willing to go out of their way (literally) for their guests. When I couldn't get a grocery order delivered in time to be on hand for grandson arriving with small children, Paul drove to town to pick up the groceries for me. Perhaps he'd prefer that information not be shared, as he may not want to make it a habit!

We had a group of 14 so we used both units. We had a great time! Our hosts were very accommodating. The place was everything we expected only better. It served our needs very well and we would highly recommend it.

Paul and Fay Anne were the most gracious hosts that went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was perfect. We will be back!!!!
