Formidable endroit pour passer quelques jours dans cette petite ville pleine d'histoire. Le personnel est agréable et serviable. La grande chambre aussi et surtout le fait d'avoir la connexion au bord de la piscine permet aux voyageurs de se rencontrer. Bien plus convivial qu'un hôtel. La piscine, le jardin, le petit déjeuner top.

La WiFi n'est pas toujours dispo. L'eau chaude non plus mais le climat est parfait. Attention pas de paiement CB

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal ist außergewöhnlich liebenswürdig und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Quinta ist sehr schön gelegen, ruhig, mit viel Grün und einer schattigen Terrasse. Das Frühstück ist gut und lecker, besonders die Papaya aus dem eigenen Garten.

The outdoor areas were nice, full of gorgeous plants and nice views. The breakfast area also looks quite charming. There were some town festivities going on, so it was actually nice that the place was located a little off center (15-20min walk) because it was much more quiet at night.

We were given the wrong room for the first night, and were asked to change to a much smaller room on the second. The bathroom on the first room smelled bad and the toilet looked frankly quite dirty. Water on the shower was not very hot and had low pressure. On the second room, the bathroom looked cleaner overall but there was no door separating it from the room and the water pressure and temperature on the shower were unfortunately even worse than the first. The swimming pool was ok, but needs some proper maintenance - water is not clear and has some insects both dead and alive inside, which overall greatly diminished our desire to swim.. we only ended up going in once (before noticing the live insects in the water), even though it had been the main interest-point when we selected this hotel from the add. On arrival we were asked to pay immediately but they did not accept card. We agreed to go into town the next day to withdraw cash from the atm, but after we did so and returned to pay, we were told there was no change and asked if we could go into town again to change the money ourselves. This did not fit our daily schedule so we kindly refused, and so had to wait a couple more hours till we finally got our change back.

Je komt binnen in een groene oase waarin over alles goed is nagedacht. Zwembad is goed, kamers zijn mooi en goed ingericht, er is een ontbijtzaal met mooi uitzicht, een huiskamer met tv. Alles klopt en is goed op elkaar afgestemd.

Frühstück: tolles und frisches Frühstück, gute Auswahl, frische Früchte, Ei nach Belieben. Zimmer/Unterkunft: sauberes Zimmer, tägliche Reinigung. Die Unterkunft wurde mit viel Liebe gestaltet, es gibt viele Pflanzen, einen Pool und einen gemütlichen Aussen- sowie Essensbereich. Lage: Die Unterkunft liegt in Cidade Velha, welche zum Unesco Weltkultur gehört. Es ist eine sehr gute Alternative zu Praia, der Hauptstadt von Santiago / Kap Verde. Nach Praia verkehren regelmässig Sammeltaxis, die ebenfalls von den Einheimischen genutzt werden. Eine abenteuerliche und unvergessliche Art. Für all jene, die es lieber etwas ruhiger und authentisch mögen, ist Cidade Velha ein genialer Ort. Restaurants und das Meer sind von der Unterkunft in wenigen Minuten gut zu Fuss erreichbar. Entspannung pur! Ich würde sofort wiederkommen! Vielen Dank an das ganze Team!

Personal spricht nur wenig Englisch. Ohne Portugiesisch und Französisch ist die Kommunikation erschwert. Übersetzungsdienste helfen aber und das Wlan ist gut. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und trotz unterschiedlichen Sprachen hat alles gut geklappt.

El entorno verde y relajado. Las habitaciones limpias y con mini cocina. El personal pendiente en todo momento de nuestras necesidades. El desayuno fantástico: variado, sabroso y muy abundante.

Nos gustó todo mucho. Fue una experiencia inolvidable
