Could hear the person in the room next door snoring - he was a very loud, probably louder than the normal level.

The staff were very friendly and attentive, Liam is a credit to your establishment. Rooms are basic, cosy and breakfast is very good.

Amazing breakfast. Clean warm room. Liam couldn’t do enough for you. Would definitely stay again!

Just returned from an amazing 2 nights stay at the beautiful Woodlands Hotel. Our Room (3) was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Breakfast and the service was exceptional. Excellent location between Windermere and Bowness. Will definitely be returning to The Woodlands in the future.

The staff were friendly & attentive , the hotel was mid way between things.

The room didn’t look like any of the pictures & I think we were stuck in the worst one right at the top of the building. As the hotel is separated into two halves we had an average breakfast one day on one side cooked by a different kitchen to a better breakfast the nxt day.

The place needs a going through as it's lack of maintenance. Let's it down, we stayed in room no 1, and we could hear the people upstairs just moving around Creaky floor boards. The tap in the room was loose, which we reported that neaver got sorted there was mould lots of it in the bathroom the windows would not lock open so you could not have them open and go out for the day. Once you had a shower, the room stayed damp, and the towels never got dry again. There was mould in the windows and one site of the mattress when you sat on it the whole side just went flat.

The place is very clean and from arriving to going home the staff could not do enough for you.

One very small niggle was the TV was in the wrong place in the room. We had a 4 poster bed and tv was in the corner so if you was laying on the bed the post was smack in the center of your viewing. Just needs putting in center of the room.

15 minute walk down into Windermere. Great location. Breakfast was delicious!! Staff lovely.

Toilet seat needs fixed in downstairs toilet. Shower cubicle was very small…

In close vicinity to the lovely town center, the B&B is cared for extremely well, down to the minimal details. Reception was extremely friendly. Generous breakfast.

We arrived late at 7.15pm. The lady behind reception was so helpful. She brought us a pot of tea and a pot of coffee,offered food but we had a sandwich with us,brought us some fruit and bonus 2 Cadbury creme eggs. She was really lovely. The staff that were on for breakfast were very polite and helpful. I had full English and it was lovely. My niece had the vegetarian option. The staff were absolutely fantastic.

There wasn't any negatives in our stay as we were only there for 1 night before attending a wedding.

As always lovely and clean and lovely furnishings. The staff are always friendly and helpful and go out of their way to help and talk to you

The location and guesthouse was perfect. We would like to say a big Thank You to Susan. She is a lovely lady, so friendly to every guest, making you feel so welcome. It was such a pleasure to meet her. All staff at woodlands are all very welcoming. We will surely stay again xx

nice staff. good breakfast

I had no side sockets. windows were cold even though they were new. one side would not close at the top, which made it noisy from the road. impossible to watch the tv due to the bed post being in direct view of tv. no shelf in bathroom to place toiletries, makeup, toothbrush etc. the pillows need replacing very uncomfortable. I would have expected another bottle of water per day of your stay.
