Great location, right in the centre if Lancaster. Clean and modern rooms. Nice food and good value.

My bed was squeaky so if I turned in the night it would wake me up

Location was good and interior of room was nice
Breakfast wasn't great. Had the full English and it wasn't the best. Bacon was tough and quality of food could have been better. Strange breakfast menu.
Stairwell to rooms was tatty with lots of wall damage.
Bathroom was not clean around the floor edges and the extract fan was excessively noises compared to normal extract fans.
Bed wasn't great and I suspect feather pillows.
All that considered, over priced for one night stay. And £6.30 for a pint at the bar?

We had a fantastic stay, everything was perfect, our room was nice and clean with comfortable beds.
It was also in a perfect location where everything was in walking distance, the staff was amazing, we would definitely recommend and stay here again. xx

Cozy hotel close to the center of the city. Garden with possibility to smoke. Nice espresso and croissant in the morning.
I was not able to pay my stay there as there was no staff available with proper authorization to unlock system. I am still waiting a contact to pay my stay there. No breakfast was served on Saturday morning when I was leaving. Long delivery process of breakfast.

Had to change room due to noisy pump sound (think it was air con) but sadly it was just as bad in the other room.
Bedroom door wouldn't shut from the outside without me using the key to turn the handle first. The room key card was very hit and miss on the sensor

Location was excellent, very close to car park and easy for town. Rooms were nice and small touches like offering your fresh milk in a flask to make tea. Staff excellent and simple check in

excellent location for city centre, breakast was very good indeed, aircon unit in bedroom was very welcome! - in-room tea/coffee facilities were exceptional with fresh milk supplied on request from the bar in a mini thermos, far better than uht mini pots!
Shower wrangling! - the shower included a rainfall shower head and a wall shower head- however the wall one didnt fit in the "holder" and shot off when shower was turned on. - had to be hand held!- There was a "coffee" stain on the actual duvet, visible through the duvet cover, however I was happy to sleep on the other side of the bed! -so didnt raise this with staff

Lovely waitress at breakfast, so polite and attentive. Breakfast menu was great and coffee was good quality. Restaurant and bar looked nice although we did not eat/drink there. Bed was comfortable, feather duvet and pillows
Noise in the room from around 1am which woke me, not sure if the noise was from the heating system. We were with family on a different floor and they were also kept awake with the noise.

Staff very good and the whole hotel felt well run with a very pleasant ambience. Very nice touches like being asked at reception if I wanted fresh milk and was given a small thermos. Also nice good quality teas in the room + homemade biscuits.

The room was comfortable and nicely fitted out, there was the usual coffee tea etc. The shower was powerful and hot. The windows were double glazed so no traffic noise. Nice thick carpet and a quality tv.
The room was getting ready for a lick of paint, a few marks on the walls etc.

A little over priced the room was a little shabby for the money paid and charging an extra £5 a night to park wasn't mentioned before hand or appreciated.

Fabulously friendly hotel in the heart of Lancaster. Superb staff, warm and welcoming with lovely, comfortable rooms. Highly recommend.
