Was not clear at booking the bathroom was shared. Very neglected house and garden.

Was ok. Nothing special. Needed hoovering behind headboard.
Was not walkable to Williamson park as expected. Had teenage kid knocking on door at 7am sunday! Think some girls were having a joke with him. No teabags or milk providrd for a drink in morning.

I had walked 18 miles that day on my JOGLE only to arrive at the location unable to access the property because I hadn't been given the code and when I phoned the property owner I just got an answer machine. I had to make alternative arrangements at very short notice with virtually no power left on my mobile phone.

Didn't receive my code for the door and couldn't get in touch with the owner. I stayed in the living room for a few hours. The front door been kept unlocked, so anybody could come in.The bathroom was filthy.

When we eventually got in the flat which was 10 o clock at night and our day was spoiled through stress the room was fine.may be for future ref after issuing door code no you put turn handle to left ,because we where turning
it to the right, even the fellow in the next room Michael Collison coudnt open it because he was turning it to the right. Day completely spoiled my sons 50th ruined .p

Bed clean, fresh and comfortable. Easy access to public transport in and out of Lancaster. Plenty fresh air from open windows. Hot water supply good. Quite clean.
House had appearance of property of multiple occupation last decorated many decades ago. Light bulb not working on upstairs landing, had to get one from fitting downstairs. No external lighting, needed to use my torch to get in. Surrounding streets rather run down.

The owner is impossible to get in touch with. The information about the property says the check-in is possible until midnight. I was assuming it means there would be a possibility to get help should anything turn out to be problematic. In reality the owner stops answering phone calls much earlier. I was unable to open the safebox with the keys and could only get in because another guest helped me. The door to the room itself has a code lock which I again was unable to open. I had to spend the night in the common area on a tiny couch in the cold - worst check-in experience ever!

It was cheap.
This is just a cheap stopover. It's a house in need of some TLC which is like a student house. A semi with 3 beds and a shared (very dated) bathroom and (dated) kitchen. The ceiling paint in the bedroom is crumbling so the floor had minor debris on it. With a shared bathroom I had the joy of cleaning someone else's toothpaste away. But it's cheap - so maybe I got what I paid for,
