Excellent value for money with a great location and an incredibly kind and helpful host! The hotel is right next to the Old Town of Heraklion and less than a minute's walk from supermarkets, bus stops and bakeries for all your daily needs. A tea and coffee station was provided along with salt, pepper, olive oil etc, which was great for making small meals at home. The views from the top floor of the building are amazing, especially from the balcony, which was the perfect place for breakfast or for some raki at the end of the day! The highlight of the stay was the hospitality of the host, making sure we had everything we needed and giving great local advice on where to go and what to see. We were lucky enough to even get to try some homemade raki and baked goods!

Be prepared for lots of stairs if you're staying in the upper floors, but it's well worth it for the view!

Communication through the Booking app. At the departure, the host greeted us and congratulated me on my partners birthday.

Top floor room with no lift. After arriving in the room, it would have been nice to have a bottle of water in the fridge. I felt like passing out, carrying the bag and going up around 50 stairs.

Clean room with good working airconditioning. Really nice host and perfect location.

The apartments where on the top floor with no elevator. Due to the warm weather that could be a challenge but the view on the top floor and the good working airconditioning made up for that!

The room is 10 minuts by foot from the city center

The bathroom is not inside the room, the room is small and the fridge doesn’t work. We honestly think that is expensive

Mainly I liked the view from last floor and that there were no suprises. I knew what to expect before arriving there. Do not expect a 4 stars hotel kind of experience. It is a small clean room with the bathroom on the hallway. The manager is indeed very helpful as saw in previous comments

Mike provided excellent hospitality and was an amazing host! Water jug provided at our disposal everyday. He made sure we had everything we needed and went about and beyond.
