We had a nice time staying at this property. It was clean, owner was nice and helpful, easy to navigate and parking on site was perfect. We enjoyed walking everywhere and the property was about 30 min walk to all the sites we wanted to see in the downtown area and being in a commuter city it was so easy and safe to walk.
A couple small things we would suggest that would of made our stay even better would of been having summer quilts on the beds, the down comforters were too hot in the summer. Treads on the wooden stairs they are beautiful but slippery! Coat hooks at the front door. Also a list of a few nearby restaurant would have been nice to help us find quick meals near the house.
Note: Be careful to not use the bathroom sinks while someone is showering they can adjust the temps in the shower.

The property was close to all of the attractions and we felt at home as soon as we arrived.

The property was exactly as advertised - a few blocks away from the Capital. The property was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. We appreciated the comfortable beds and the much-needed air conditioning. We typically grabbed an Uber to get to where we needed to go.
Ed was great with communication.
One recommendation: have a visitor's book. We always like to see what other guests recommend for restaurants, local must-see stops, etc.

This Capitol Hill home was a perfect place for my family and I to enjoy everything the DC area has to offer. We would definitely book it again

This is a beautiful space! It was exactly as pictured on line. We loved everything about it. Throughly enjoyed the courtyard for morning coffee and dinner. Stayed with my 3 sisters. So convenient for walking to all of the sites, memorials and Eastern Market. Off street parking was a huge plus highly recommend for adults who like to walk and sight see

Property did not disappoint. Pictures true to form. Very comfortable setting. Beautifully decorated. Outdoor patio and garden were an added pleasure. Location was close to H street where there were restaurants all within walking distance.

When we pulled up my kids were so excited, curb appeal is 10/10! When we walked in I was instantly comfortable. Place was immaculate, had everything you would need, including a notebook of house rules/instructions and tons of maps for site seeing. Location was awesome and a great neighborhood to walk around and just take in the old fashioned vibe of the homes. Also has shared off street parking which is hard to find so yes definitely recommend 😁 Ed was the best host as well. He is incredibly responsive and just so so nice and that is always a breath of fresh air! Definitely recommend staying here if you're in town, you won't regret it.
Highly recommend getting a bus/subway pass for your stay, makes life so much easier.

This was a great spot to stay for our entire trip. It was close to everything we wanted to see. We used Uber to get to all the sights. The home was well stocked with paper supplies and kitchen items. We enjoyed the outside patio area.

This was a great home base for our DC adventures! It was comfortable, clean, and well stocked (I really appreciated that there was enough toilet paper and tissues for our stay). The laundry machine was great too. The location felt very safe and close to what we wanted to see. The Uber costs were reasonable as well, when we used that instead of walking. The parking space was great, as we drove to DC, but didn't want to use the car around town. Communication with Ed was great and very responsive. Highly recommended this place! Thanks!

This was a great property to stay at. The home was exactly as advertised, and was very comfortable for 4 (2 adults, 1 child, 1 senior). It had lots of amenities with plenty of seating and thoughtful features (it was nice to stay at a VRBO with towel bars to hang more than 2 towels!) The kitchen had pots and pans, knives, and other cooking utensils. The spiral staircase was narrow, and a bit tricky for a senior travelling with us to go up and down, but we knew that going in, so we were prepared for it. It was a very good place to stay, and I would definitely rent again.

Really nice and unique space for up to 4 adults to sleep, and a few more for entertaining. Great location near extended family and can easily get to most everything via ride share or walk.

We had a great experience staying at this property for our vacation. It’s a quick drive to the National Mall and The Spy Museum which was a family favorite. It was a great central location to venture out to the Air and Space museum in Virginia and a day trip to Annapolis. The house is clean and comfortable. Thanks for a great stay!

Great place to stay. In the heat of the summer it is a bit far of a walk to the mall but that is what we have uber for. The walk maybe more manageable during the other seasons.

This corner home is tremendous. The pictures and description are revealing and excellent, but they don't do it justice. There is plenty of space and it is beautifully designed. Don't pass this up. It was one of the best VRBOs I've visited.

Great place in DC
Our family had a wonderful time in DC and loved our stay at this house. It had a beautiful garden area, plenty of space for all of us and all of the amenities we needed. We enjoyed cooking breakfast in the kitchen, sitting out by the garden and hanging out in the living room. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

A Cozy Spot in DC
We really enjoyed the property. It was very clean and had all of the amenities. It had a cozy kitchen, great living room with vaulted ceilings. The spiral staircase was unique, and there was a very spacious bathroom upstairs. We enjoyed eating lunch in the private courtyard. Great location and walking distance from the Mall and Metro.

Wonderful neighborhood, so close to shopping and tourist sites. Outdoor garden area is relaxing, a hidden oasis in the middle of the city.

Great DC Getaway
We had a wonderful stay at this cute property in DC. Family of 4 visiting to do all the touristy stuff. Home was well stocked with most of the things we needed. Good use of space to ensure everything you need was within reach. Adorable front porch/garden area for relaxing in. Hard to find in the DC metro area for sure! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Elegance and Harmony
The house and the garden are lovingly cared for, there is not one element in the house that is not necessary. The house is a beautiful, well thought through composition of places to rest, sleep, work and eat/cook. I was sad, I have only been there for 2 nights.

Nice quiet place!
My family stayed here on our spring break trip to DC (including 10yo and 6yo). Good location, easy access to public transport to get us wherever we needed to go (several bus routes have stops within 3 or 4 blocks, plus the H Street Streetcar). Easy reservation and check in, location and property matched description and photos are accurate representation. Also the off-street parking spot is easy to get in and out of, even for midsized SUV.
Plenty of food a couple blocks north on H Street corridor. Also great little coffeehouse a couple blocks away, Jacob's coffee.
We'd stay here again, highly recommend. Thanks for such a great stay, Ed!

Long weekend in DC
Was very impressed with the property. Was there for a long weekend and this had everything we needed. It was within walking distance of Union Station, which was very helpful with all of our sightseeing. It has off street parking which was very convenient since we drove in from Wisconsin. Would highly recommend this home to anyone coming to DC.

Great for Us
The property is exactly as portrayed; it is attractive, clean and well-organized. It worked well for us while visiting for a long weekend with our daughter who recently moved 3 blocks away. Our host, Ed, was responsive and helpful.
