Location a bit remote. Would need car to get into Belfast. Restaurant food for dinner was average but had good kids menu.

The attitude from reception staff when reporting an incident in the car park. Would expect more from a one star B&B in the middle of cairo.

Stayed in a room that had bed bugs. Got bitten roughly 13 times. I made a complaint to the hotel, to which I was told someone would contact me within 24-48 hours. That time period has passed and there has been no follow up from the hotel.

1. Customer service is practically zero, no clue about customer service or how to wait on customers. Reception felt like they didn't want to be there, had a better customer experience today at the till in Lidl that I did the whole stay at this hotel. Food was thrown on the table and nobody checked back if things were ok. Plenty of staff on but nobody working the tables, most avoiding eye contact in case you would ask them for something. Had to get out of my seat every time to get something. Food was just ok, white wine was served lukewarm (even after complaining the wine was not cold the first time second glass came out pretty much near the same) 2. Breakfast was fine but below the table looked like last night's dinner, the floor was never vacuumed, come to think of it that part was closed the night we stayed so it was likely days old. (Reviews a few weeks ago from someone else pointed this out also. Staff walking around in cirlcles whilst we waited for someone to serve tea (eventually tea for two came out in a coffee pot with enough tea for one) had to get up again. Nobody checked on us the whole time we were there. 3. Swimming pool is ridiculously low in water height (6 foot tall man kneeling down the water was nearly up to my chest) Honestly this is a nice looking place but let down by what I would seem simple improvements. I don't think I will return.

Beds really comfortable, and roons are nice and big. Staff also very nice and helpful. Swimming pool a plus also. Kids really enjoyed it. Breakfast was also good.

Just the swimming pool use. As a guest, you expect to be able to use the swimming pool. It is understandable that you need to book, so when its very busy with lots of families and kids,it does not get over crowded. However, there were many classes on, baby swimming classes, aquagym, and people with memberships etc, and that didnt leave much space/time for guests..swimming pool is not so big, so depending on the time, even if you get a slot to use it, it is not worth it.

Couldn’t booked dinner,bed and breakfast with a family room, you could when you booked a room With a king bed, but not with a room with a king bed and sofa bed.

I won’t recommend this place when traveling with kids there is no kids pool as website says , water in swimming pool was cold enough event for adult . Those with allergies(GF/VF)my advice get in contact with Hotel well in advance to arrange your breakfast etc.

extractor fan in the room was running constantly which made it difficult to get to sleep. also the toilet seat was not cleaned when we arrived.

10-15 pounds into Belfast centre one way. Never cleaned room after first night had sign on door as well after we left at 9-30 ish to go into city

I had requested a later checkout instead of 11am to what I considered a normal hotel checkout at 12,0clock, I asked reception and they refused so I asked for the manager on duty, I spoke with Malissa who was the acting manager and was told that the hotel was full and that they could not help me,I found the way I was treated by the acting manager extremely rude and very unhelpful,I have stayed at many crown plaza around the world and could not believe the way that I was treated at reception and have vowed never ever stay at a crown plaza again in future, I felt that the acting manager very rude and not what I would have expected from such a hotel I

It's a little bit outside the centre. About 20 minutes driving.

The romm was great,we also loved the pool,Robyn was very friendly…great lassie. We ordered some snacks and unfortunately it wasn’t great in taste for what your charging. We didn’t opt for the breakfast due to the price. It would have worked out at about €60 for 4 breakfasts..I definitely wouldn’t eat £18.50/€22 worth of breakfast!!

Breakfast was excellent, Leisure facilities very good. Bar had a good menu and good food. Staff were by and large excellent.

Room not cleaned by the time we came home in the evening time. Lobby very cold. Prices in bar a bit high.

We found the service in the river room Bar very poor! The staff were looking very bored, they took 30mins to clear our table. Stood around talking. Customers looking at each other wondering when they would get served

Pool water was freezing

It was all lovely. We didn't have the breakfast as it was ridiculous price but that didn't affect our stay. We simply ate in Belfast City Centre. The location was a bit further out of the city than i had realised but it was easy to get to on the bus.

The pool wasn't great. Split into lane swimming and free swimming meant that it was quite crowded. Having to book a slot was a pain as we never knew when we would be back at the hotel and had to change our slot each day. Again didn't ruin our experience though.
