The bar downstairs is gorgeous, lovely food and drinks, staff are lovely

Room was too hot and so dark, the bed was too single beds pushed together so was quite uncomfortable, parking was expensive

I loved the unique decor and friendly staff

I would have liked a bath.

Hotel was beautiful, very trendy and very clean

Location was good, about 15 mins walk into the centre. However the area around the hotel had plenty of bars and restaurants too. Comfy beds.

Tiny cups and coffee machine in the room rather than a kettles, which means if you're a tea drinker your tea will taste of coffee even if you run hot water through it three times like we did to try to get all the coffee out of the filter. TV signal was rubbish, same with WiFi to watch i player/BBC on an evening on bed. Sink was cracked. Room was red hot and no way to adjust the radiator or turn it off completely. Poor water pressure in shower. Very expensive bar/breakfast.

Fantastic location and friendly staff. My requests were considered and met. Lovely décor. Very clean.

Could have done with a couple more towels but I know more would have been provided on request. Bed was made up of 2 singles pushed together but there was a big dip/hole in the middle - both kept rolling into it. Volume on remote didn't work.

The king room, was two beds pushed together so a large divide down the centre, very uncomfortable. There was a sewage problem with the room and it stunk… Staff at the bar were extremely ignorant 2 young boys seemed to be fuming to be at work

Stand out for me was the check in staff were so helpful and really friendly! Nothing seemed like a bother for them when asked, which was great and really welcoming. Especially Jodie from start to finish was so helpful! All the staff were actually great and friendly when dealing with them. The hotel bar is stunning and great drinks & food ! A really great stay so thank you all.

I know it was a bank holiday weekend and it was the Sunday of the Marathon, however we kept getting moved in the bar before we were due to leave for our train. I recommend maybe putting down reserved signs on the tables that are reserved, and if you move a group from one reserved table and see them going to sit at another (as it has no reserved signs) maybe inform them before they sit down, order a round of drinks and then are drinking their drinks that that table is also in fact reserved. Now the manager who came to tell us was extremely lovely and nice to deal with.
