On booking charges were different than the real ones. Told me to pay with extra charges (Taxes etc). on Website/ App , it must State that the extra charges, if there is any....

Pool was perfect ;-)

I have mixed emotions about vivanta. It has a lovely reception area and pool area. The restaurant staff are really lovely and made us feel special. Especially Chathuri Maleesha Sahan and Noyel Karunarathne. He was really sweet. We had issues with our tv and phone, and the maintenance guys were very quick to respond and fixed the issues on both occasions quickly. We utilized the pool a lot, and the gardens are beautiful. The bathroom in our room had obviously been refurbished, and it was great.

It is really overpriced for what it is. We stayed in far superior accommodation throughout Sri Lanka with free breakfasts and enormous rooms for half the price. When you know what they pay the staff, it just isn't right. We got locked out of our room twice because they deactivated our cards. I think they just didn't check how long we were staying. I think most people stay just overnight. Our room was smelly and damp. It looked like the air conditioning was making the room damp. We couldn't open our window to air the room as it had been permanently sealed. We couldn't open the door to air it out because the corridor smelt of cigarette smoke. Obviously, we were on a smoking floor. The gym is big and the changing rooms are lovely but the floor and ceiling in the gym need to be fixed. The air conditioning must be leaking, making the roof moldy and destroying the floor. There are lots of staff by the pool but most are just on their phones. We were not asked once in the 4 days we were by the pool if we wanted a drink or food, and dirty plates would often be left a long time. We always had to go inside to get a drink or food, which is quite a distance. It's a bit awkward, too, when you are in wet togs and people are in the restaurant dining.

Sehr gutes und sauberes Hotel, das Buffet war ausgezeichnet, etwas teuer dafür aber sauber und gut ausgestattet 👍 Personal war auch sehr bemüht, würden wieder kommen.

Very spacious hotel and room, clean and choice of restaurants. We ate in thr chinese restaurant and the food was delicious. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Ideally located for airport. Arranged a packed breakfast for us as we were leaving 6.30am for the airport.

Thought the pool area needed a bit of tlc, chairs and loungers looking tired and weeds growing up through tiles. Pool was very clean though and we had service from the bar

Convenient

It was convenient to get to the airport
