Could have been a few more options for breakfast. I thought I was getting an airport transfer when booking two nights, but this only applied to booking through 'booking.com' --It would have been helpful to have a pitcher of filtered water in the room (we had to got downstairs quite often to refill bottles).

I would have liked the shower to be hotter but I do like a very hot shower and this temperature might be ample for most people

Very friendly host, they try their best to let guests enjoy holiday. Local is a quiet area and easy to visit tourist attractions by Uber (3 $ to old town). Rooms are clean and comfortable. 24 hour reception is very convenient and safe. Wifi was smooth. A good supermarket was nearby.

Antinea is on the edge of La Mariscal in a pretty tree-lined street. The building is old and beautiful and full of little nooks and crannies.

There is a bit of a boom from the surrounding neighbourhood. Especially on a Friday night, it seems! I could still sleep, though!

We received a free upgrade for the room which had direct access to a small garden whilst our children could access the same garden in the adjacent room. Both rooms were really spacious . The hotel has a romantic, pleasant atlosphere with agood breakfast and nice places to relax both inside and outside. At breakfast we were offered, eggs, fruit, youghurt, croissants, juice, coffee, tea etc. Various restaurants are close by. The old town can be reached by taxi (or Uber).

This is the fourth time I've stayed at Antinea, and I will stay again. This is a charming little hotel in a central, but quiet Mariscal location. Each room is different and charming. The suites are a good value. The bed liens are comfortable and warm. I appreciate the attentiveness of the staff including those who work late at night. The breakfast is tasty, with better than normal bread, coffee refills, eggs and fruit. Highly recommend for both families and solo women.

The staff was very friendly, helpful and communicative when we needed to park our car and store our luggage for a few days while we were in the Amazon. The property is beautiful with unique rooms and lovely shared spaces, especially the balconies and patios. Well located and walking distance to many nice cafes and restaurants

The room was great with two comfortable beds. For us it was a one night stay for a transfer and we had to leave early before breakfast, so the staff arranged us some sandwitches with drinks which was so kind.

Very close to Plaza Fochs without any noise. Fastest WiFi of the trip so far with internet speeds of 75 Mbps. The courtyard was super peaceful with hammocks and a foosball table. The breakfast was great and it was convenient to the bus downtown, several restaurants, and a big supermarket a few blocks up the road. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is very nice located, several minutes to the city center by taxi. Staff were really nice and friendly, help us with a transfer from airport and with taxi around the city.

What a wonderful gem we found in the heart of the city. Our room was decorated in the most amazing way! In fact the house was full of wonderful art and unique architectural details. Breakfasts were quite generous and we especially loved the homemade yogurt. The street was fairly quiet and had mature trees which only added to the ambiance.

Staff were great. Breakfast was terrific. Location great. Very charming place in a neat neighborhood - the Mariscal - in an kind of overwhelming city, Quito.

The rooms are really close to one another, the walls aren't very thick, and if your neighbors are talking even at moderate volume, you're likely to hear them!

the female administrator is angry, always with a displeased face, rude. the rooms are very cold. I lived in a suite with a fireplace - they won't give you firewood for the fireplace. do not recommend this hotel. I booked the hotel for 3 nights but left after 2 nights.
