My sister and I stayed at the house for a week, this was our first trip to San Diego. The house was BEAUTIFUL! It was well stocked, had a lovely and very private backyard, and plenty of space to relax. The beds were so comfortable and the home was so cozy. We were centrally located to all the things we wanted to experience, Coronado Island, Old Town, Little Italy, La Jolla, and Balboa Park to name a few. Lael could not have been kinder or more accommodating. We will definitely stay at his place again when we are back, which is hopefully sooner than later! Absolutely recommend Lael's lovely home!! Thank you for being such a great host!

Spent spring break here with family- only 5 miles from zoo and 7 to Sea World - would stay here again!

Large home with lots of entertainment options. Close to airport and attractions. Comfy beds. Quiet neighborhood. Great host- excellent communication- very flexible!

The house is in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to freeways and downtown. The host was very responsive and made for a very pleasant stay. The house has great gathering areas and activities and is a perfect place for families with all ages. Everything was clean and well maintained.

This home was good for our group. The neighborhood is quiet. The pool table, hot tub and outdoor space were much enjoyed. The owner was very prompt in responding to issues that arose.

We will definitely be staying here again. The house is perfect. Everything and more than what we expected. Neighborhood is super close to everything. Thank you guys so so much. We all enjoyed the wonderful property

Nice place to stay after a full day in the city. It was like going home at the end of the day. It was comfortable and a nice quiet neighborhood.

It was a great location to get to Sea World & the zoo.

The place was spotless clean and lots of towels. The Jacuzzi was wonderfully hot, and all the beds were surprisingly very comfortable.

Before I begin, I want to state that I reported my concerns directly to VRBO the morning after our arrival, because the damage & cleanliness was so bad it concerned me & didn’t want to be liable for the damage, nor did we want to relocate. I'm letting the property owner know now thru this review. We arrived early & the maids were still cleaning, so we left & returned later @ appx 3:55, check in was @ 4. Property owner arrived this time because maids were still cleaning. It was @ this time the owner stated that there had been a bachelor party the night before & that is why the maids were still cleaning but assured us it would be clean. Okay we had no problem with that, we can wait a little longer. It was not until we entered the property, we would see the issues. We were getting settled in & my son in-law wanted to turn on some basketball, so he went to grab the remote that is on the counter that is under the TV by the pool table, the table was soaked with beer, so we cleaned it up & moved on. As the evening went on my daughter kept saying it felt wet near the bottom of the white sectional in the other room, we thought it was from the maids mopping earlier so we took a closer look & found another puddle of beer, we cleaned that up too, & found a dollar bill too, probably from the strippers at the party the night before. During our stay we would find more issues. A damage wall behind the black sofa in the pool table room. The large recliner has sharp metal exposed on the backside (someone could cut themselves easily) not to mention more wall damage. My daughter went to sit down in one of the chairs at the dining table, she fell straight down, she could have been seriously hurt). The outside was just as bad that I couldn’t bring myself to sit in the hot tub. The freezer had used bags of Ice in it, not sure if it was from the party, but that is not the point, it's GROSS! The bathrooms were somewhat clean only the bare minima's, the medicine cabinets looked like they had never been cleaned, & there was some personal items left behind in the hall bathroom that the maids never removed, again GROSS! The ceiling fans look like they had not been wiped down in years, along with every other surface you can think of. I could go on, & on, but there is not enough space in this to accommodate my remarks. To the owner, TAKE THIS PLACE OFF THE MARKET ASAP! P.S your roof leaks too, & I will be contacting VRBO for a refund of cleaning fees.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The unit was comfortable, nice bed and living room furniture. We ate our breakfast each day on the lanai which had a lovely view of the golf course yet was sheltered from the wind. Over the years we’ve stayed at several of these Kuilima East condos and this one was nicer than most. A special shout out to our property manager Lora “Betsy” Healey, who helped us with a couple issues we encountered upon arrival. She was readily accessible, actively involved and very effective in making things just perfect. Thank you, Bitsy!

This home was perfect for us-4 adults and 2 young kids. Had a ton of fun

The house was a perfect little spot for four adults to enjoy San Diego. The extras of a pool table and hot tub was certainly a hit!

We didn't leave the house! Didn't need to. Everything we needed to entertain ourselves was there. Pool table AND ping-pong conversion with a wet bar, hot tub, outdoor heater, full kitchen and plenty of blankets and pillows. The bathrooms were very nice but the hot water required technique. Hot tub was very clean. Yard was wonderful and we even picked some avocados and oranges. I would stay here again and would definitely suggest it to others. It was exactly what we were looking for!

The experience was wonderful

House was nice and clean and in a great location for easy access to the freeway. We went to SeaWorld and it literally took us less than 15 minutes to get there. Any questions or concerns that I had before and during the stay were answered immediately. Thank You :)

This house is located in a very nice and safe neighborhood. It is also very quiet. There’s more towels, washcloths and linens than you could ever possibly use, plus a washer and dryer which we didn’t need to use. There’s also a lot of dishes, silverware and pans, if you want to cook or reheat leftovers. The beds are comfortable., as are the many chairs and that couches. The pool table is a big plus for entertainment in the evenings. There is a nice desk which was very useful in getting some work done. We didn’t use the hot tub or the grill, but they looked clean and nice. But what makes this place outshine most is the owner, Lael! Communication prior to and during our week long visit was terrific. We had a couple of minor problems and she was there in minutes to deal with them. She has several other properties in the area and we wouldn’t hesitate to stay at any of them. In fact, we previously stayed at one and have booked the other one for an upcoming visit. Thanks Lael for making our stay so nice.

We had a great vacation. The house is centrally located & the neighborhood is very quiet. The hot tub was a definite bonus. Communication with the property manager was excellent, very friendly & accommodating.

We were joined by our adult son and his family as they had a wedding on Coronado. The location was fantastic for the wedding and their related events, but also for us to visit the zoo, Little Italy Mercato and the beach with our granddaughter. The neighborhood was perfect for our runs as well and we enjoyed the outdoor space for games and the hot tub. Would definitely stay here again.

The reservation and check-in process was extremely easy. The owner is very accommodating and responsive. We had a great vacation. The location is close to highways, shopping, restaurants, and the trolley.

My family and I stayed at this property for my son’s Marine Bootcamp Graduation. The place was clean, had all the essentials needed like towels, sheets etc. very spacious and had plenty of things to do indoors like play pool, darts, ping pong, had a grill to bbq and a fire pit to hang out in the back. It does have a hot tub but we didn’t use it. The owner was great with emailing back whenever we had a question. Good place and you can also take your pets, which we did.

We had a great time stay at this property. The hot tube was clean and felt amazing. The pool table/bar area/back patio/firepit were great for cocktails after days of adventures. The kitchen was very well stocked. (better than any rental we have ever stayed at before). The bathrooms are pretty small but they are very nice. The shower in the master bath works great. Plenty of soaps, shampoo and conditioner. There are more towels than you could ever use and they are all nice plush expensive towels. The appliances all worked great. The AC works great. Ceiling fans in each bedroom. The flooring has been updated in the great room And there are nice area rugs for the dogs to lay on!(The pictures show carpet, but it has been taken out) The location of the house is great. It is just minutes away from the zoo, Balboa Park, the Valley Fashion mall and Downtown. We would definitely stay here again and we really appreciate you letting us visit your home! Would recommend to friends and family.
