The room was clean and comfortable. It was very spacious, which was great for the kid with us. The beds were comfortable. We slept well. The bathroom door did not slide to close, so we had to shower and everything with the door open. No privacy. We parked on the street to avoid paying $39 to park. It was well lit and safe. Upon check out we were charged $4.73 CA Tourism Fee we were not expecting. Overall nice short stay

Hotel conveniently located for a weekday event. However I would have liked to see cleaner rooms especially floors (bathroom & carpet).

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay! The room was clean and smelled nice when we walked in. The lobby and staff were very attentive and nice. We would stay again.

we were dissatisfied with the service. I had luggage and ice chest and a bag. I was trying to get into the lobby to check in. No one offered to help l had to find someone to help. There were ants in our bathroom. We had employees come and want to take care of ant issue while my husband was still in bed. I told them to come back after we checked out.

I had to find a hotel with one days notice and found it at a reasonable price.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
I was especially impressed with the coffe/snack/gift shop.

Had to change rooms multiple times because our first room had a broken balcony door and I had specifically booked this because of the balcony access. Got switched to a downgraded room and had to ask for a different room again. Parking is $40 a night and people do not know how to park so you are better off parking outside for free. Hotel is very close to downtown and beach areas. Cookies are good and are complementary so might as well have some if you are paying for parking.

The rooms had been cleaned, but most of the hotel smelled like mildew. We woke up to ants in the bathroom. There was a hole in the picture and one in the wall. There is no refrigerator and the parking was $40 which we did not know until we checked in. I will not be staying at this hotel again.

This place is dated, not what expected from Hilton hotels, broken tiles in the bathroom, stained carpet. Has never been remodeled. Definitely needs it

Not so great if we wanted WiFi we had to pay extra fee. I never had this experience I stay at resorts all the time and this was trouble.

The room was clean. The bed was too soft for my liking. Also if you plan on taking a car, $40 a day to use their garage which I thought was excessive since we're already staying at the hotel.

I would not stay at the double tree when I next visit as Diego. The outdoor pool for Friday Saturday Sunday from 12pm to 8pm was off limits to guests due to a private function.

It was a great stay. I love how there is a trolley across the street to take to different attractions.

Hotel was just ok, we were charged for parking. Customer service was average, room was clean but dusty. they closed the pool for a private party and as we were there a short time this meant we couldn’t use use it. Location was decent as we could get to the main town pretty quickly by driving.

Hotel is nice but a lot of homeless people in the area. Parking also extremely expensive. Room was extremely dusty after getting turned over. Maybe something wrong with vacuum. Washroom sink clogged but repaired promptly

This is the perfect stop in San Diego for a quiet nights rest. We stayed here while visiting town for a friend's birthday. Everything was clean, the parking was easy, and they were even able to get us into our room 1 hour early since we arrived earlier than expected

Over all it was ok. Super close by the Fashion Mall. One thing i didn’t like was their parking $39 for each night :/ I do not recommend having breakfast there I feel for the price it’s not worth it. also think they could of done better on cleaning the room

Our bathroom sink kept backing up. The water would not go down easily. We had to report it twice. It got fixed the last day we were there.
