We are regulars to Pointe West multiple times per year. Had been staying in larger homes as our group has grown. We stayed in this property several years ago and loved it so when our first trip this summer was going to be just our family and my wife’s godparents we looked up this property to book again. The updates they’ve made since our last stay are wonderful. Our favorite part of this property is the view laying in bed in the master. Fall asleep to looking at the moonlight on the the gulf. Owners are fantastic communicators as well. I’m filling this out as we just made it back home and trip let down already set in. We will be back!

Great property with amazing beach location. Galveston was having a busy weekend and we didn’t feel any of it. The privacy of this location was absolutely awesome. Mosquitoes were pretty bad so bring your bug spray

This is a wonderful house to rent! First of all you are in a wonderfully kept area at Pointe West. All the properties there are lovely and well maintained. The house is on a quiet street and is ocean front. The views are stunning and you would never tire of looking at the view from the master bedroom, living and dining room. The covered decks are a wonderful place to hang out. We were very impressed by the coastal decorating. The house is bright and beautifully furnished. The kitchen is wonderful! This is a great beach house and we would definitely come back again and stay and stay!

Our family had a wonderful time at the house and enjoyed the community and clubhouse amenities. The balcony views were stunning and the mosquitoes were not present in the upper level balconies. House was great and met our needs. Communication with property manager was wonderful and easy.

This house was perfect in every way for our family, which includes two kids in elementary school. The ocean views were gorgeous, and we had a delightful night enjoying the sunset while playing a game on the balcony. The bottom floor was a surprise bonus because there is a large yard area and great place for grilling burgers. The decor inside the house was casual yet sophisticated and comfy. Everything was impeccably clean. We have rented a ton of places, and this house was our favorite by far. We hope to be back soon! We also rented a golf cart from Rick’s. It was fun for the kids to take joy rides around Pointe West and came in handy when we wanted to visit the pool and bar, although we didn’t need any transportation to get to the beach because it was so close to the house. I also highly recommend Rick’s for a golf cart rental - they delivered and picked up to make everything effortless. Bottom line - this place is worth every penny and was so difficult to leave! Pointe West is our favorite getaway from Houston, and we now found our favorite home!

The hose was very nice and well-stocked with things needed. the drive to the Seawall was bit long, but we knew that going in.

Highly recommend this amazing home. Our 2 yr. old grandson can open the door. It would be helpful if the owner could resolve the problem.

House is great. This was our 2nd time here and with the new renovations it is just beautiful. Laura is a great homeowner and very responsive with the few issues we had. She worked to resolve them quickly and professionally. We would stay here again as it is a great house and perfect location.

Wonderful house and location! Fab and responsive hosts, even when difficulties they were quick to keep us informed and fair in response. Would definitely come again, this home has an absolutely gorgeous beach view and such a different feel than staying further East. Had everything we needed for a great stay and easy checkin procedures. Loved how uncrowded the beach felt in front of the home also. Also such a nice bed in the second king bedroom that I quite literally came home and bought myself a new mattress… 🤣

House is small but it accommodated every one perfectly. We loved the view, loved the sunrise; loved the deck. It was a great experience. The club house was ok, food at the restaurant is not the healthiest, and it’s a drive to get to the club house. But overall, we had a great time here. The host was super attentive, the kitchen was perfect, and there were no problems or concerns

The property owner was flexible, friendly, and prompt in her responses. The house was wonderful - beautiful views, water views from both sides on the house, comfortable beds, very well-stocked kitchen.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this house, and the owner was very accommodating and responsive. However there were several things that really need attention/investment. The flooring near the doors leading to the deck was in bad shape, with tiles that were broken/loose. These were covered with a rug, but you could definitely feel the unevenness. The carpet in the master is very tired and needs replacing. Several of the windows are permanently fogged obscuring some of the view. This is probably due to seal failure in the double pane glass. One other suggestion for the owner: There is no outdoor dining table of any type. It would have been nice to be able to eat dinner outside. Finally, one other thing to note that is not a maintenance problem, but just a design thing: The floor plan is flipped so that the living/dining are on the top floor and the bedrooms are all down on the lower floor. The advantage of this is that when you are in living area, you have access to the best view from the highest deck. The disadvantage is that you have to climb an extra flight of stairs every time you go into the living room, kitchen, or dining room (with groceries, ice chest, etc). We got a much needed workout!

We were unable to take a summer trip but I still wanted to feel like we did. I found Stay Salty on Vrbo and was pleasantly surprised, with just a golf cart drive away The Point West Resort was so much fun and because it’s exclusive, it wasn’t packed with people. It was just right. From grilling in the evenings to waking up with the sunset and beach horizon, it was the perfect little getaway; and only a 45 minute drive from home. Can’t wait to go back.

Loved this house. Gorgeous view from the balcony. House was very clean and well stocked! Nice surprise to find lots of water toys available for use. Would rent again! Definitely encourage others to rent a golf cart. We did and were very happy. Main clubhouse is too far to walk with kids.

We loved our stay at Stay Salty. The kitchen and living area are the largest we have had in Pointe West, which was nice. Great view of the beach and great closet with beach toys. We had a great time!

We had an amazing stay in Pointe West. The oceanfront property was wonderful because we could always see and hear the ocean. The kitchen and home actually had everything we needed; some rentals really don't. We plan to return!

The house was perfect for our family of 7 (2 adults and 5 teen/pre-teens). The location is fantastic being just a short walk to the beach with impressive ocean views. We really enjoyed all the outside balcony areas for coffee in the morning and drinks at happy hour during sunset. The usage of the community pool was huge plus for us. The host was very accommodating and was easy to communicate with, we highly recommend the property.

Had a nice weekend hanging on the beach! Nice house, nice neighborhood, if you want a quite beach weekend, this is the spot. Close to the beach entrance, waking in the morning to see the waves crashing and enjoying coffee on the deck, fantastic.

My family truly enjoyed our stay! The owners really thought about the homey touches. We loved the decorations, the games and books that were left there, and the beautiful view! The games kept my 3 year old entertained for a while! The kitchen was well stocked and everything was clean. I completely agree with the comment before me that there's just a few things that would have made the stay even better. The master bedroom had a musty smell the entire time that I think shampooing the carpets would fix. We also chose this beach house for the view but the windows needed to be cleaned. Overall, we had a great experience and we can't wait to stay again in the future!

The beach views are incredible. You instantly relax when you arrive. A cup of coffee on the balcony, watching the waves makes this location the best - any time of the year ! Clean, great kitchen (well stocked), comfortable beds. Owner is very responsive and helpful.
