beautiful and big rooms, perfect location, 20m pool, tennis, volley ball etc and especially horse riding! among many other things - at a perfect location on the shore with beaches and country side

Comfortable beds, beautiful, well decorated, spacious rooms. Very helpful and friendly hotel staff. The grounds were beautiful and the free horse ride was so much fun. Tons of activities. All of this and it is just a short drive from Montevideo.

This is only for the restaurant.!! Train wreck. Service is non-existent. The restaurant staff is nice enough but clearly need to be trained on how to work at a restaurant. Most attempts at eating in the evening are followed by a good 15 minutes of playing "where is the waiter". Zero idea of basic serving skills. Lunch is a bit better. Never saw a sole at breakfast as it is [fairly average] self serve sweets, juices and coffee. When you finally are able to order, you are greeted with dull, tasteless and overcooked food. Chicken breast was so dry it took a litre of water to choke it down. When asked what the soup of the day was, the waiter needed to check. It was 8:30PM. It was "vegetable". When it arrived, it was a sort of cream soup that tasted vaguely of vegetables. I am guessing not only had it been vegetable soup all day, it was always vegetable soup. Burger was a hockey puck. Pizza was frozen from a box. One day at lunch, we were seated next to two ladies [who were not staying at the property but were just there for a late lunch]. At around 3PM, they paid their bill and left. When we arrived later for dinner around 8:15, the place setting from their lunch had STILL not been cleared. It was still there when we finished eating at 9:45 PM. The restaurant closes at 9PM. Our two top was the only customer. Also, pretty expensive for what you get. I have worked in hospitality for years and this is one of the most obvious cases of people just plainly not caring I have every witnessed. A shame as the property it is attached to is very nice.

Spa and small gym are included, as well as 45 minutes horse riding per day. Clean, friendly staff, fast wifi. Good country area.

Walls in our room have to be re-painted. Pool is full of small unsects, sea is brown-colored, thus it is not for swimming. But it may be called as extra-requirements.
