It was such a lovely place with a beautiful view. Paul came to check in with us and suggested places in Swan Valley we could visit.

Lovely location, quiet, spacious, fantastic views of the city and Baskerville area. Close to wineries and restaurants. Highly recommend this accommodation. Paul the owner and his daughter were very helpful.

Two families holidayed together. Plenty of room for all. Spacious rooms and fully functional kitchen with quality appliances. Heaps of fruit trees and Paul is happy for you to pick and share. Would definitely stay again.

This is our second time staying at this property and as usual we loved it. Walking distance to a microbrewery, winery and tavern, chickens and egg collecting each day for the kids, a pool (although was a bit cool for a proper swim this time), fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds - can't fault it. A truly delightful property matched by a truly delightful host,Paul. The views were fantastic and photos did not do them justice. The only downside is that I wish that Perth was closer to Newcastle and we could avoid an 19 hour flight. Thankyou Paul for giving us a wonderful 10 days

This was our second time at the property. It's such a great spot to completely relax. Close to things to see and do in the Swan Valley, but far enough away to feel like you're "away from it all".

The hosts were great with communication, very generous and welcoming. The property and views are stunning, the accomodation was comfortable and had everything we could need. We had the most wonderful weekend here. Thank you!

Beautiful view, outstanding really. Well appointed and very clean property and comfy beds. Very friendly host and lovely surroundings.

There was no one there to greet us when we arrived but there was washing hanging on the line. Paul appeared 5 minutes later for a chat & said he would remove his washing. Upon inspection of the property we found the lounge area was furnished with an old sofa with burst cushions & breakfast bench chairs that were ripped & unfit to sit on. The property is not furnished as advertised on the website. It has dated & worn out furnishings. I have photographs of the furnishings but cannot upload them as this website does not have the facilty to do so. The clincher came when Paul came back & advised one of our party that we should fill up the kettle as he would be turning off the water. We all agreed the property was not suitable for our getaway break & left. I contacted Paul & informed him we would not been staying at the propertyfor the 3 nights that we had booked & asked him to arrange a refund of the cleaning fees as we did not use the property & there would be no cleaning required. I am still waiting for his response 5 days later.

Paul and co (the owner) was amazing and very accommodating to our booking. Property was just beautiful and the view was unbelievable, pictures do not do it justice. It feels like you are down south. Cannot recommend it enough and will be back!

The overall stay was lovely , clean and great location. However it does say on the add that two small dogs are allowed up to 10kg. So I bring my dog and then owner pops in unannounced telling me that I need to get rid of my dog now he does not allow dogs here . I understand if you don’t, but you should honour what you have on your add whether you are aware of it or not . False advertisement is illegal.

Loved staying here for two nights. Wished we stayed longer. 8 mums had a weekend away and had a wine tour bus collect us from property. House was very clean, tidy and just nice a relaxing with a wonderful view. Great veggie garden and overall gardens are beautiful. Very enjoyable weekend away. Thanks Paul for your friendliness and efficient correspondence.

My friends and I loved every minute of our stay at Merino Manor. The house was lovey - very clean and well appointed – and Paul was an excellent host, who even lit a campfire for us! We loved the references to Footrot Flats and the winding drive up to the house made us feel like we were in New Zealand. It was so peaceful, we felt like we were really far away in the country but we were only a few minutes’ drive from food and wine in the Swan Valley and a walk at Bells Rapids. The view west over to the city was amazing, with patches of fog in the morning and lots of twinkling lights at night. And the chickens obliged us with some eggs for breakfast!

Myself and my groomsmen stayed at this property the night before my wedding. The house was great and was perfect for what we needed. Having the pool on-site was an added bonus.

We really enjoyed staying at Merino Manor. The house is very nice. The owner lives on the property and is friendly without being imposing. Our son loved the swimming pool. Easy access to bush walk tracks, wineries and breweries. Internet is good also, allowing our son to play Xbox during our down time. Thoroughly enjoyed it
