Clean, easy to get to, free parking, plenty of space. Very happy with our short stay. Easy access both to and out of Reykjavik. If you have a car and want to do things in both Reykjavik and outside Reykjavik, this is an excellent choice. I was also kindly notified that we left the fog lights on for our car, which kept us from waking up to a dead car when we needed to get to the airport! Thanks!

We really enjoyed our time at this apartment. The neighborhood was quiet and walkable, but it was easy to get to the city center and other places we wanted to go by car. Asty was very kind, helpful, and welcoming. It was a great place from which to enjoy our first time in Iceland!

A lovely apartment tucked away from the busy down town area the atmosphere was great Asti a perfect host .Best if you have a car to get around the apartment was nice and cosy. With washer and dryer a must for travellers Large bed room with kitchenette and a large bathroom laundry. Would recommend to anyone

Perfect for 2 people. With a car rental, easily accessible to Reykjavik & surrounding area. Clean & newly renovated. Came & went as we pleased with no issues. Local bakery/coffee shop recommendation perfect for daily breakfast.

I must say that this "Cozy little apartment" was just that and more. I can not say enough good and there are no negatives.
Our host, Asty, could not have been nicer or more helpful.
This should be the standard for all rentals.
The apartment was spotless clean. Everything that we needed was there.
The bed was super comfortable.
Parking was right in front of the house.
The neighborhood was super quiet.
The location is very convenient for visiting Reykjavik and the surrounding areas.
I have to mention that I read the reviews and all of them were extremely positive and once we arrived, I knew why.
If anyone is planning a trip to beautiful Reykjavik, I highly recommend you stay with Asty.

What a great place! Very close to city center but far enough to be quiet and less expensive. The apartment was bigger than I expected with plenty of room for two people. The hosts were great!

The place was clean, comfortable and well furnished. I would recommend renting a car as Reykjavik is easy to drive & the apartment is a few minutes from downtown.

We really enjoyed beeing Astys guests. The appartment is situated in a suburban housing area but well connected to the city by different bus lines. Shops arent very far away, 10-25 min footwalk, depending on how much you need.
The rooms were tidy and clean, the kitchen well equipped and the bed very comfortable. We recommed this place if you want to discover Icelands south and want a basecamp in the capital. If you want to enjoy the city life of Reykjavik, it might be a little far off.

I can't say enough good things about this place, cozy, full of amenities, a great upgraded bathroom, really hot water, in probably my dream location. Everything is 5 mins away by car! In every direction too. Just bring your suitcase as they provide everything including a full kitchen and laundry! The owners are wonderful, friendly and warm. I'll definitely be back renting this place again. I'm sad to go back home.

Comfortable and cozy place to get rest after site seeing in Reykjavik. The kitchen came in handy on days we decided to eat in. There are restaurants and shops close by as well.
We found the place quiet and comfortable. We'll use this place again for our next trip to Reykjavik.

very nice couple who were very attentive during my stay. only 2 issues I ran into while I stayed was the TV was not working (hopefully this was fixed for the next tenant), and the wifi worked...but was a little strange, my laptop had no issues, but my phone would have a week signal....it could have been my equipment, so I never brought this up.
I have no fears that if I had had any other issues, that they would not have been addressed. it was a pleasant stay in a quiet neghborhood.

This was a great place to stay! Asti communicated quickly. We loved having a washer and dryer especially since our luggage was lost by the airlines. With our rental car it was a quick 10 - 15 minute drive to the harbor. We highly recommend staying here.

This was just what we needed, our only regret was not needing to stay longer! Your spot was so thoughtful, clean, cozy, comfortable, and the best nights sleep we’d had all week. There was a binder of tips on how to navigate the house, the neighborhood, and local recommendations. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you so much!

This is a nice studio apartment that's very nicely done. The bed was quite comfortable and we really appreciated having the washer and dryer. The location is on the northern edge convenient to route 41. Close proximity to a beautiful park and botanical gardens and bus stops to downtown. The owners were very helpful and friendly.

This is just as listed. Very comfortable for a short visit, kitchen is good for simple meals. It is about a 45min walk to downtown but you can take scooters or the bus and be there faster

We'd been to Iceland before and were just staying for a couple days before we flew on to Glasgow. This was a perfect place for us. Easy parking and we loved walking through the nearby botanic garden (and the wonderful cafe) on our first day. Definitely recommend to other travellers.

My friend and I absolutely loved this listing. It was perfect space for us two and location from the city. The host were super accommodating and it made our trip so much better. Less than 10 mins from city center, we were able to go back and forth with ease. We loved the in unit laundry! 10/10 recommend for 2 people!!

We rented this basement apartment to stay at while exploring Iceland.
The apartment is charming and very clean. The owners live above and are very nice and helpful. This apartment was perfect for our stay for many reasons.
It's located by everything you need for site seeing in the city or a long trip visiting the waterfalls and gorgeous countryside.
We will return in the summer very soon!

Owner was really responsive and friendly. We needed to drop off bags a little early and they were able to accommodate this. Location was close enough to bus stops where getting around was easy. You can even even ride scooters to town!

Apartment is efficiently furnished with everything one needs. Easy and scenic 10-minute drive to downtown. Partially below grade so a bit dark. Owner proactively made sure we had check-in instructions and in general responded quickly.

Ten minutes from city center this was a great spot if you have a car and need a clean and simple place to crash on your way in or out of town.

After a long ring road trip, this was the perfect property to spend our final days! We were only a 6 min drive from downtown , or can take the bus if you don’t feel like driving. Also the washer and dryer is a huge help after weeks worth of wet hiking clothes. The guidebook was well thought out and the beds extremely comfortable. Best party was the espresso machine in the kitchen, saved us a lot of money on coffee when going out! Hope to come back and book again, thank you!

Wonderful Place
This is a wonderful property away from the hustle of downtown but not too far that it's not accessible. The check in process was very easy, the accomodations were very clean and well stocked with everything you need. There's a bonus of laundry facilities. The hosts left a great information book in the apartment that answers any questions you may have during your stay. Overall, a wonderful place in which we would definitely stay again.
