Everything was lovely, there was never an issue with getting a pool-side sunbed. The staff were really friendly and the island of Poros is beautiful. the beach over the road was also lovely, with sun-beds when you want a change of scenery. There were quad bikes nearby to hire which made seeing the island east and fun.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Helen Hotel. The family owners and all staff are very friendly and made us feel welcome from the first minute. Sofia cooks lovely food, with daily greek specials. The Hotel got a stylish pool with comfortable sun loungers, where both small kids seems happy, and our teenagers loved! Helen also got a small strip of private beach with sun beds, mostly pepples, but very quiet and relaxed. Helen is close to Askeli beach and a five minute taxi ride to the pretty port of Poros. There is also a taxi boat running frequently to town, or to Monastiri beach. We are so happy with our stay, we are planning next visit already. Thank you <3

Somebody moved one of our towels in the swimming pool and we couldnt find it. We asked for another one and the girl in the reception was not very nice. After we found it and returned it she made a fuss because our child made a stain with ice cream

Very friendly, welcoming staff. The room was good, comfortable and spacious. The pool area is nicely designed and comfortable.

The beach was disappointing - more a small strip of ground and rather grubby looking sun beds. Also the lack of pool towels (and uncomfortable pillows)!

We had a great stay in Helen hotel! Cleaning was flawless, the pool area amazing & the food a DREAM!!! Excellent family running the hotel (always helpful & kind) Location is very good! Just next to the sea & 5’ driving from poros port! Thank u everyone for the best memories!!!

SUGGESTION NOT COMPLAIN We noticed that there are many families with kids & a good suggestion would be to have a small play area for the little ones to entertain themselves

This hotel should definitely be rated 4 star … run by a family who are warm & professional, it is absolutely spotless. Lovely pool area which is immaculate with service on tap. Great location for Poros central with cheap taxis in & out if you don’t fancy 20/25 minute walk. Several gorgeous bars & restaurants all within short walking distance . We loved it here with our two children in their 20s. 10/10

Highly recommend. Sophia and her family went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. One member of our party was suffering with a slipped disc and we were also caught up in the EasyJet cancellation chaos which meant we had to extend our stay and they couldn’t have been more accommodating and welcoming.

Everyone is really lovely and very helpful. Cant do enough for you. Very accommodating especially with us having a 6 month old. The pool is lovely and clean and the pool area also. Love the artifical grass . Feels good to walk on. The decor is nice. Room very clean and cleaned daily. Had everything we needed. Enjoyed our stay and extended a further week and will be sure to stay again on our return .

There's nothing to dislike.

It was a great two bedroom unit with separate kitchen space and bathroom. The balcony had a nice view of the pool area and we could see the ocean in the distance, despite being in the unit furthest from the ocean.

The Internet was mostly good, though my Zoom call dropped once. The restaurant was still closed for the season, which was surprising because it was May; however, there were options nearby. We were glad to have a car, though we did walk into Poros proper once that took about 30 minutes.

The apartment is excellent, only 1 drawback. It needs a comfy sofa to relax. The so called sofa is more like a bed and cannot be sat on comfortably . Otherwise the hosts were super friendly. I would syay there again
