The location was great (right next to a good bakery and a big supermarket, walking distance to the beach) and so was the complex. Nice and clean (and quiet) pool & friendly and helpful owner. We had 3 rooms as a family and all the rooms were comfortable and included private balconies which was great!

When we checked in to our room, the room smelled like smoke. It was a very strong smell and we asked to change rooms. This wasn’t possible on the day of checkin because they were fully booked, and as the days went by, the smoke smell left. The owner seemed upset about the smell (suspected the previous guest to have smoked in the room which was not allowed) but at the same time there were ashtrays in the room so that does send a mixed message. Furthermore, on one of the days we got clean towels, one of the sets smelled extremely of smoke - this was really unpleasant. Lastly, the 3 rooms had very different bathrooms - some more modern than others so some showers could use an upgrade (glass doors instead of plastic shower curtains).

The accomodation is situated in a nice and quite aria of the island. There is a market, a bakery and a rental shop just a few meters near the place which make it really convenient for a long stay. Also there are a lot of good restaurants in the aria which are affordable. The host is kind and eager to help you with everything you need.

The Villas are in a quiet area, close to the sea and restaurants. There are a bakery and a small supermarket only a few steps away, ideal for breakfast, snack or to cook something in your accommodation. The pool has plenty of sunbeams and parasols and the grounds are kept clean and tidy at all times.

There is no locked luggage storage, however you can leave your bags in the "library" area (a bookshelf near the pool), I was assured it would be safe, I didn't leave the premises as I'm not accustomed to leaving my suitcase in an outdoor area without my supervision.

Our second stay at Kostis Villas and it didn’t disappoint. Great location, room, staff and facilities.

A beautiful and spacious apartment with kitchenette, lovely balcony and a very nice pool. Right around the corner from the apartments you can find a super market, coffee shop and scooter rental. Kiani Akti is a nice quiet corner of the island, but still has multiple restaurants close by. While there are beaches even closer by, I'd walk over to Monastiri Beach for the proper beach experience. The Poros harbor is like 5 minutes away by scooter with all its facilities, hustle and bustle.

The bathroom was a bit on the smaller side, but can't have it all.
