Lovely family hotel. Very friendly and comfortable and laid back relaxing atmosphere. Good quiet location and nice views over the bay and to town. About 20 minutes stroll to the centre of Poros Town, where we went most evenings. Great selection at breakfast. Our room was very spacious and a huge amount of storage space.

we got stuck on the island as we missed the last ferry and they took us in and even upgraded our room to a sea view because they felt bad for us. the shower is great, the pool is massive and the beds are really comfy. staff are really nice as well. easiest €50 to ever spend.

1. Run by a super friendly family for whom nothing is a bother and no request is too troublesome. They are on standby to help with anything that may be needed. 2. Close to the island promenade without being too close in terms of privacy. 3. A chatty pet cockatoo called Freddy.

Everything. We had a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived we felt welcome. While we relaxed at the pool we met several people who told us that they come back every year and for one couple it was their third time this year. But after a few days we could understand why they keep coming back to the same place. We felt like family and had a lovely few days. The room, the breakfast, facilities, etc. were all fine. Poros is a pretty island- go across to Galatas for the view of Poros town- and had the best restaurants of the four Argo-Saronic islands we visited. At first we thought that the hotel was a bit far from the town but we got used to the walk and the free town bus stops just over the causeway. In October the only bus running was the one around the town but I imagine that in-season there would be more routes. The location is steps away from Kanali beach is a plus.

The room was given to us quite late but I think it was a misunderstanding in between the staff of the hotel. Anyway, they apologized for this and everything was OK afterwards.

my companion is somewhat disabled and it would have been nice to have some public transportation into town although the taxi was affordable and efficient.

Saga hotel has a very pleasant atmosphere, so I felt like at home. The staff/owners are very kind, friendly, and attentive. The room was clean and tidy, and the view from the room's terrace was overlooking the garden, which provided a special kind of peace (which I desperately needed, considering that I was traveling because of work and had to occasionally work in the hotel room on my laptop). Most of all, I liked the very rich and excellent breakfast! In addition to the standard components that Continental and British breakfasts have, they also had their traditional Greek dishes such as the excellent dessert Portokalopita (orange cake). I would like to return to this hotel again and I will bring my family with me next time.

Very friendly family run hotel. Owners in attendance every day, children also working in the hotel. Make a real effort to make your stay the best.

Pool; excellent wifi; pool bar with nice selection of food, well-prepared and drinks at reasonable prices. The management and staff cordial and very accommodating.

Everything went well. Loved the breakfasts and friendly atmosphere.

Booked a room with sea view and double bed, was given a room with three single beds, ground floor, sea barely visible. Me and my partner had to sleep on separate beds on our first trip together. Felt awful. Requested a room change but was offered one at the back of the hotel with no sea view, although the hotel was basically far from fully booked.

Spacious, clean, nicely decorated room with beautiful view, modern/good quality windows/patio door ! Quiet location; although there was construction project nearby. Family who run the hotel- helpful and accomadating. Walking distance to main town/port and 2 beaches. Food- excellent breakfast selections, foods from own farm/garden or locally sourced, home-made meals. Luggage rack, wall hooks available- rare in Europe.

Limited counter space in bathroom . Spoke to owners who said would try installing wall cabinets/shelfs. Safe- not functional / handle broke. AC- not too powerful/effective the first night, but kept us comfortable enough. Second night - cooler.

Room was spacious and generally clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast (with fried eggs and omelette). Pool and leisure area is nice and green. Balcony and the view to the seaside is good, but you could only barely see the sea from our first floor room. From higher up the view to the sea should be better. Beds were comfortable (on the hard side, which I like). AC is effective.

A bird was kept in a tiny cage in the dining room all day which felt unpleasant. No blankets in the beds, only sheets. The AC is noisy even on the lowest setting so we turned it off at some point during the night. The building is quite old and the age shows, especially in the shower booth.
