The host was very nice, she expected us at arrival with free water. The apartment was cleaned everyday, and the towels changed everyday, the kitchen has everything we need. We've liked the pool and the garden, that offers a very lovely view by day and by night. Maria, the owner, was very kind to us and always there for us for help. We highly recommend this place. 🙌🏻

Mrs. Maria was the best host! She welcomed us upon our arrival (after helping us to book the transfer from Chania Airport to her place) and toured all apartments with us providing all the details in a very clear manner. She also helped us with directions, how to get to the closest beach, supermarkets, even a health center - Dr. Vittorakis (we had an incident with a sea urchin... but everything was fine in the end thanks to them). There's also a big parking place where we could leave our 7 sitter van over night. Although the apartments are very close to the beach, we also enjoyed the amazing pool which is surrounded by palm trees, very clean and big enough for both swimming and relaxation. This is actually the main attraction of the accommodation. There are a lot of restaurant within walking distance: Panorama was the best for us (we went there 3 times for dinner, we chose greek salad, steamed mussels, kleftiko and bekri meze every time and the sunset is just amazing), Thimari (very good gyros), Poseidonio (nice fish and sea food) and Angela by the Sea (delicious breakfast). All in all, we couldn't choose a better place for our holiday! Everything was amazing! ❤❤❤

In the morning, it can get a bit noisy, but I think that everybody is excited about their holidays, so it wasn't a big issue for us. :)

Maria is extraordinary. This is the second time we stay at Maria Suites (room 8) and we will return with the same pleasure. The location is 10+, the rooms are very clean, they are cleaned daily. Excellent pool, the courtyard full of palm trees looks great. It's quiet. Accommodation 5 minutes from the main street, with markets and taverns. We will return whenever we have the opportunity, with great pleasure. Maria, thank you for your hospitality!

Great location close enough to the main street with all the shops and tavernas and beach but slightly away so that it was not noisy. Also being set up the hill it meant that we had a great view of the sea and surrounding area. Poll and room kept beautifully clean. Maria was the perfect host and very welcoming and helpful. Her own pressed olive oil was a lovely touch

It was a little tricky to find when we first arrived as it was set back from the main road and some really clear instructions as to how to find would have helped. We arrived late at night and had to ask for directions from a local to find the place!

The location of the hotel is great. Close to restaurants, shops, beaches. Rooms are clean and renovated. They change towels and bed lines every three days. On a kitchen you will find everything you need to cook. Nice swimming pool. I went to Platanias Beach. It is small pebbles and sand beach. It is better to have a swimming shoes. There is another beach – Agia Marina which is a sand beach. But I didn't go there. Sea water is clean and nice.

The apartment had two balconies, one shady and one sunny so very comfortable. Lovely bathroom and light lounge. There were surrounding windows for fresh air.

The apartment was self catering but had very limited cooking area and facilities and you had to find a space to boil the kettle and use the toaster in the lounge area and there was no work space. There was limited clothes space and the bathroom had no shelves for toiletries. The tv was in the bedroom and didn’t have any English chanels and there was no wifi in the lounge so you had to stay in the bedroom to watch anything.

Perfect location, quiet and comfortable. Very friendly host.

Nothing to complain about

Maria Suites is very nice small hotel which is locates very conveniently in quite place close to the center of the town. It's 5 munutes walk to the bus stop, supermarket and central square. The rooms are equipped as describedm, everything is very clean. The pool is very nice and clean, opened 24/7. The host Maria was very friendly and always ready to assit at any time. She gave us a lot of good travel advices and spoiled us with local pies and Cretan olive oil. We we would be glad to come back.

The place is great and Maria is extremely nice and welcoming! Not only did she recommend the best places to eat around, but also she was very prompt in catering for our needs - we travelled with a baby. Extra-points for the cleanliness & the pool!

Booked based on good reviews and the photos. More than met my expectations. Central but a short walk up the hill away from the noise of the main st. Maria the owner/host was lovely and takes pride in her accommodation. Tropical pool area and views of the sea from the balcony 😎 Highly recommend and would book again!

Pool, very clean and location

Only got 1 pillow which made sleep quite uncomfortable for the first night, aircon wasn’t working.

Everything was extremely clean and well run. Maria was charming and very helpful. Location superb very near to excellent restaurants.
