There’s a reason they call it southern hospitality. Beautiful property, and a beautiful lake! One of the nicest hosts we’ve ever met.

Cannot complain about anything..other than the weather lol. Perfect place to relax and just enjoy the lake!

Our family had a fantastic week! We enjoyed our time on the screened porch and the dock. The house layout was perfect for us and had everything we needed to prepare meals during our stay. We brought our boat and the nearby boat launch was convenient. Stephanie was easy to communicate with during our stay.

We just returned from our stay in Reed Creek at this wonderful hidden gem of a house. The house was lovely and very clean. The location is quiet, and mostly private. (The houses on either side are set back and mostly hidden by trees.) The lake view and the dock are amazing! The house is stocked with everything you could need from kitchen equipment, to information about nearby restaurants and activities. Corresponding with the owner, Stephanie, could not have been a more pleasant experience! I could not recommend this house and location more, and we can't wait to go back!

We had 6 adults and 4 children ranging in age from 19 months to 11. We loved the bonus room with the 4 twin beds for the older kiddos. The back screened in deck was the perfect place to enjoy coffee in the morning and let the kids play before heading down to the lake. The views are gorgeous. Stephanie was great at communicating and very quick to respond. We would definitely rent from her again.

We spent a long weekend at this beautiful home to enjoy quality time with our out of state college aged kids. The first thing we noticed after walking through the front door were the expansive views of the lake, it is truly breathtaking! My kids, getting ready for finals, said it was the first time they didn't have any stress in a long time (me too). The home is very clean and has all of the utensils/cups/plates you would need to cook at home. We cooked every meal (and used the bar-b-q) and only went out to one restaurant. The day we went into downtown Hartwell most things were closed by the time we arrived so we went to the Boat House Grill and had a great time on the porch eating southern food and talking to locals. The home is rather secluded (what we needed) so make sure you bring your groceries and everything you need as the closest dollar store is a 10 minute drive. We spent every morning and every evening relaxing on the enclosed porch and at night we had a fire in the fire pit. During the day, we hung out on the boat ramp and went out on the kayaks and paddle boards. One day we hiked the easy 3 mile loop by the Paynes Creek Campground (5 min drive) and had fun at the Lake Hartwell Wildlife Safari (5 min drive). The owner, Stephanie, was great and very communicative. It was a perfect weekend for our little family and we definitely plan to stay again.
